Who’s gone from the Flash to Mavrik FW?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering who’s gone from the Epic Flash to the Mavrik 3 wood?

Why did you make the switch? Better numbers, glued hosel, look, sound, feel, or just because it was something new and shiny?

I made the switch to Mavrik mostly because I had the Tensei Pro Blue on hand without a fairway tip on it. My Flash has Diamana BF in it which is good but I seem to get more performance out of the Pro

Not Mavrik, but I did go from EF to super hybrids. I did not expect to replace my EF woods for a long time but the super hybrids clearly fit my swing better.

I liked my EF FWs and didn’t expect to change them so soon. I absolutely love the mavrik max in comparison. I’m a high handicapper (24), but these elevate more easily and seem to be more forgiving. No

Nobody has made the switch from the Flash to the Mavrik?

I tried the Mavrik driver and was yanking it left the whole time. Went back to the Epic which was very reliable for me. Sold the Mavrik the following week.

Everyone is different though.

Thanks for the responses. I like my EF 3 wood except the line across the crown. I really don’t need the adjustability and I love the bonded hosel. I’m just wondering if I’ll gain anything switching to the Mavrik?
