Very nice, how the feel on it?

Also didn't know they're taking on customs unless you did it to one of their stock items.

Thanks, will look for reviews once you get a bit more use from it.

Ok gotcha, I knew before you could do full customization but not it's kinda semi customization to get putters in the mail faster.

They make nice putters. I have Ringo wide model, and this weekend my Ringo long neck arrived, except it's not a fu**ing long neck and face milling is not what it supposed to be. It took two months to ship as well. So... I don't know how to feel about them. On one hand they make nice putters, on other I think they suck as a business. Just be aware it may take a while for your putter to ship.

I’m also thinking about ordering one but having some issues with website getting to custom options and other concerns in this post about shipping time, etc. I want an 009 look and feel and these look as close as any others for the price. Not sure what to do?

Just got a Black Oxide slant neck Holliday prototype with all paint fill removed. Looks and feels absolutely amazing.

Love the different options re: milling on the face - the light milling combined with the weight and toe hang of this makes it somehow somewhat similar (in terms of weight, hang, and feel) to my small-slant Spider X, but in a blade not mallet form, which is exactly what I was looking for.

Looks good. I’m looking at ordering one also. How long did it take to get this? Do you know what carbon steel they use? 1018? 8620? Does it feel hard or soft? Thanks

they are only shipping, but I live in Denver, so with usps I received it the day after they removed the paint fill and assembled the shaft and grip. 3 days total from order to door. I was buying a ready-built prototype head though.

I’m not 100% sure of the type of carbon steel but the feel is very nice. For me it’s perfect. Mine is not deeply-milled and has very light milling, which technically makes it “firmer,” but I would call the feel more “responsive” before I called it firm. It still feels soft, but you can feel the ball during the stroke.

As a comparison I have a Yamada turtle which has deeper milling and it feels butter soft, but you can kinda lose the feel of the ball on perfectly centered hits, which are almost too smooth. I love this putter too but wanted something a bit firmer and lighter. Either way, now I will have choices when my putting starts to suck.

I know Carbon does different levels of milling on a number of models, so you’d want to go with your preference

Ok thanks for the info. I’m leaning toward the Holliday raw or black. Maybe long neck.

Too bad about the customer service issues. I have been looking at the Ringo wide - how do you like it? Anything you would compare it to?

I would compare it to a small mallet putter. It's compact heel to toe (compared to other bladed putters I have), which I like a lot. But it's still longer than my Cleveland Classic 6 mallet. It makes my new Ringo "long neck" look huge by comparison! It is stainless steel and flat face milling so it has that firmer feel as well, but I like it. I don't have any other wide blade type putters so can't compare to those types.

FYI just checked, mine is 1018. They left me a note about care and qualities of the steel which was a nice touch.
