Callaway Diablo Edge. These are not by any means the latest and greatest, but I picked these up new about 6 years ago and have always done well with them. I am playing a lot more this year and have improved my swing speed that I am upgrading the shafts and am loving them even more. I could probably go out and find newer irons that I like, but the clubs in my bag cover every hole I have played. These feel nice, I can control the shots, and I am happy with the distances. Once they wear I will eventually replace them, but they are still in great shape. Why spend the money when I can get either lessons or a few more rounds and still enjoy these clubs.

I've been using the Taylormade PSIs since they came out (2015/2016?) and have been really happy with them and haven't looked at anything else.

Currently gaming Taylormade RSI TP's and have been incredibly happy with them. One more solid season with them and I will move on to a set of Callaway Apex Pro 16s.

I started playing again after a 20 year layoff. My old blades didn’t fit with my old man’s swing. I wasn’t sure my back would hold up to playing so I picked up a used set of Nike Slingshot 4d irons with graphite shafts. It didn’t take long for me to start hitting them very well. If things go well, I may go for a fitting for a new set next season

JPX-900 forged. Finally found a forgiving set that also doesn't miss left as often. I can finally take a full hard iron shot without that left fear and it has made my par 3 scoring way better!

My 9-year golf history, iron-wise:

Cobra (from circa 1994) - still lowest round with those (net 61);

Titleist 755 - sadly did not match my HC.. ;

Cleveland CG16 - won Net C-Grade championship with them (net -15);

Current: Srixon z355 - nicer feel and thinner top line than the Clevelands, still long and forgiving.

Ping G30 they work well with my new philosophy the Bryson Dechambeau approach all I do is practice driver and wedges. These are super forgiving andgo straight as an arrow. Much better for me compared to the tm rocketbladez tour I was using previously

Played Nike vr forged pro combo since they came out in 2013-ish (got fit for them at Nike golf HQ in Beaverton - very cool experience), and just replaced them with p790s in Feb. They lasted a month before I took them back and have now settled on an mp20 combo set (mmc/mb). Only had them 4 days, but they feel pretty good so far. A random Callaway x forged UT remains in the bag - my mixed bag of clubs would drive some folks crazy, but if it works it stays in (until it doesn’t....)

After playing Cobra Amp Cell Pro irons for the past 7 years I have decided to try and find a set of irons that provide a sleek players look that I am used too with a little bit of extra forgiveness. I ultimately landed on the Srixon Z785 irons. I love the feel and they are definitely more confidence inspiring than the Cobras which are a CB/MB progressive set. I tried pretty much everything which set up with less offset and traditionalish lofts. Love them so far!

I played Mizuno for 15 years probably between a couple sets, recently went to AP3 with actual extensions to fit my 6’7’’ frame. Love the AP3 but I would consider Mizuno again for sure

Back to Apex irons after playing Titleist AP2/CB/T100 for awhile. I think I'm done with Titleist, at least for now. The T100s were a bit of a disappointment. Played many Mizunos and the Srixon Z785 and while decent, I find them a bit overrated, especially the Mizunos. Not bad, just overrated. I really liked the Ping S series, having played them from 58 to 55, gorgeous irons, but not a fan of the new look Pings as they remind me of UFOs from the 1950s movies.

Mizuno MP-68. After 20+ yrs of playing Mizuno blades, I'd finally decided to try something new...Srixon 745...but they were stolen before I even got the distances dialed in. So I grabbed the MP-68s and shoved them back in the bag. Still love the look, feel and sound.
