Just posted this in the main equipment forum but as of today TaylorMade is offering a MyTP Putter which has Morikawa's long neck. 4 options include Juno L Neck, Juno & Soto Long Neck and Soto Flow Neck options with custom color/shaft/grip options.

I was hoping the long neck was going to be face balanced. I would have pulled the trigger on one...

Not sure what lie you play but dropping the lie to 69° will bring it closer to face balanced.

My Spider is X is at 70 right now

Then yeah wouldn't work, a bit of lie angle adjustment can change the toe hang on a long neck. These TM putters don't seem to have very long of a long neck to begin with.

Yes there will be a new Spider X 2021 and its launched in februari 2021. It will be a bit "cleaner" in design and cost the same as the one in stores now. It will come in two colors.

Just quoted my local pro that has seen it and preorderd next years clubs. They where shown picture of it by the sales guy from TM:s on his laptop. Personally haven't seen it 😞

I had ordered one "blind" and now that i got a "yes that's it" i canceled the 2021... dots in the top is not for me. Gone get a 2020 model instead. 

Looks like its two lines and dots in the middle. And as you say wider alignment

My putting has never been better since I switched to the Spider X putter.  If I bought another putter, I would never trade in my existing one, as there is no guarantee a newer one would be any better for me.  I used to upgrade equipment every year, only to find that the newer stuff wasn't necessarily better.

Sigh, of course I missed the picture. I really love the alignment on the current gen and I’m not sure how I feel about that changing. Need to decide ASAP if I’m grabbing one now or holding out since the stock seems to be dwindling. Feel free to PM me the picture 😁

After seeing the picture, I agree, doesn't look as good as the present Spider X. It also looks bigger, maybe because there's more white on it. 

 

I'll wait to see better pictures, but I'm leaning toward status quo for the putter for next year.

So Taylormade requested to have the photo removed? I totally agree the company wanna control the message and has every right to have it removed. 
 

What puzzled me is why don’t the OEMs release new stuff prior to Christmas? I literally wanna get a new putter (approved by the wife) for Christmas. And I’m thinking whatever I got, there’ll be the old model in 2 months.

I felt the same. The 2020 is soon sold out so i ordered a 2020 yesterday 🙂

This puzzled me for a while as well.

 

My theory is that there is a LOT of the current stuff in inventory. People HAVE TO buy Christmas presents before Christmas.

 

A month or so AFTER Christmas, when the new stuff does come out and all that old inventory has been bought up, and the new season is right on the horizon, the real equipment ho's see all the new stuff and,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The exact spec I wanted (35” single bend in navy) seems to be gone on the TM site. I could settle for chalk or just keep my fingers crossed I like the look and feel of the 2021.

In one of the other threads the release dates got leaked. TM has 2 putters listed that will go on pre-sale Jan 19th.
