Great stuff guys, looks like the black KBS shaft is gone, replaced by no-step chrome appearance...

 

Happy the Spider X is still an option, but what is 'Hydro Blast'? (Assume it's a new stock colour). Assume 'MySpiderX' and the 'MyTP' putter options will still be available?

The weights 'appear' a bit different than those used on the Spider X no?

 

Wonder/hoping the Spider X weights would work as getting weights for customization purposes always seems to be a bit of work (When you're in Canada at least).

According to the translation from the Taiwan website it helps with alignment. Too busy for me.

Please delete if not allowed....coming from the older spider tour black to this is a welcomed changed.

 

Loving the new face insert gets the ball rolling nicely will do some on course testing over the weekend but so far so good, loving the feel and alignment. I thought this colour would be a pain in direct sunlight but the matte finish dulls reflections quite nicely.

So I’m wondering if they will be coming with the black shafts. Hope so because other pictures show otherwise.

Would be silly of them to not continue with the black CT tour shafts, in saying that mine came with this exact same shaft.

Considering Ror's won this week with the 'Blast' short slant I assume it will be shortly...

 

Like the finish, but I really don't like the long slant vs. the other models have had with the short.

Have about 15 rounds and countless indoors sessions with my hydroblast and it's as good as new. Pretty impressed with the finish given I've played on sandy greens, in the rain, etc.

Friend of mine has played about 5 rounds or so, his is holding up nicely

I bought one but returned it after realizing you can't change the weights in the new models. Makes no sense to take that option away after offering it on every previous model.

Update: Cannot beat the Spider X. I think all that moving weight around didn't work as expected. Will be off to eBay. Sorry for the original review. 😞

 

 

 

I just finished one round with the Spider EX Platinum and absolutely love this putter. I've had every Spider released. TM finally made an insert that has some sound and feel making this the best for me. I play muni greens and plastic is just too soft. It has a fluted shaft like the old Bullseyes. I like it, kind of cool looking.
