I was so impressed with Morikawa! Bogey free and boring golf of fairways and greens. And when he got into trouble he got up and down and made it look easy. We all know it wasn't, but still. Defini

And folks are talking TW for the win. LOL. The bet should be when does his back lock up.

I think Morikawa is an incredible player, but I did not think he had it in him to go full boss and go get a major on a Sunday like that. I assumed guys would just start to melt away, but he went a took that ish. Good for him.

Please... Spieth is one of the most magical players in the history of golf... really the only one we’ve had since Tiger/Phil. Morikawa is a nice player, plays an extremely boring style or golf (beautiful yes, boring most definitely)... lets see him win one of these with the pressure of 15.000 fans in the gallery before we crown him of anything.

Don’t say this often, but kudos to Jim Nance for intentionally speaking over the phone call from Collin to his parents. It was a bad choice by the director and Nance recognized it.

I agree that Koepka looked pretty foolish throwing those comments out there, then throwing up on himself...

I should have put money on the kid. Was there anyone else who mentioned the importance of winning at the Memorial earlier? It happens so often with major championships. It's almost like you need an impactful win earlier in the year in order to break through. There are far more examples, but if you think of Pavin, Couples, Weir even Woods. They got it done, in a relatively big way before breaking through. I mean it seems obvious, but Morikawa said that on the shot on 16 he was drawing on the shot on 14 at Memorial.

Can't say enough about how he grabbed onto this championship.

Hardly. Having played the course a few times, it is a pretty even split between fade and draw friendly holes.

Big congrats to Collin, this is huge for him and puts another talented young gun up at the top. A 6-under final round in a major championship at 23 years old deserves nothing but big respect.
