Never considered a graphite iron shaft and always figured the benefit is lighter weight and vibration dampening. Are the MMT shafts designed to dampen the vibration? Curious how that would affect the feel on pure shots, not sure if I would like a dampened feel.

also I’m playing less these days and loss some weight and it’s the bad kind of weight to lose. I’m not as strong so I switched from x100s in my irons to the 105s that are x-flex but about 25 grams lighter. With this info I’m wondering which shaft is for me?....

How is the durability vs steel?

If one is prone to the occasional heavy chunk (or frequent while working on swing changes beating balls at the range ?), is there any fear of one snapping off at the tip? Or should they hold up as well as steel?

Are there manufacturing benefits to graphite over steel with regard to being able to manufacture to specific targeted specs (ie - could you hit a wider range of torque, kick point, tip or butt stiffness targets all within the same weight of graphite that you couldn't hit with steel)?

Why do the 105 and 125 lines have an “S” and “TX” option, but no standard “x” offering? Let’s say I always played a Dynamic Gold X1, should I soft step the TX flex shafts?

I play the parallel 80 Stiff and like them so far. In general can you explain the correlation between weights and flex? ie what would I notice going to a heavier weight but softer flex? I feel like a lot of players interested in the MMT have similar questions related to the stiffer flexes but in light weights vs heavier weights and softer flexes.

I can't choose between MMT Taper Iron vs. MMT Utility Iron for my 3 & 4 driving irons. Is there a big difference between these two shafts?

I have a set of mmt105 tx waiting to be built but I am unsure of the flex. Can I handle the tx if I can handle most steel versions in x. Is there anyway I can soften the flex as they are a 0.5” longer?

In the recent past I have used graphite shafts in my irons for several years. I really loved their performance on the longer irons, but struggled with the short irons where one needed the ability to vary the distance that the ball goes. My conclusion was that the lighter weight shaft performed well on longer irons where one is more often making a full swing, but on the short irons where one frequently tries to hit half and three quarter shots, the lighter weight shafts made it more difficult to pull off. Therefore, my question is: When getting fitted for these shafts, would you recommend a standard weight shaft on the long irons and a heavier weight shaft on the short irons?

How long until we see a big name (high SS) Tour player with graphite in the irons? These seems to be a clear stepping stone in the progression of graphite v steel, excited to see where we are in 5-10 years.

I currently play Aerotech Steelfiber i95 stiff shafts in my irons. What MMT shaft would be comparable, and more importantly why would they perform better than my current shaft? I currently play a Diamana shaft in my driver, and love it, so the MMT shafts do intrigue me.

Here on GolfWRX the overwhelming favorite graphite iron shafts are the taper tip Recoil and Steelfibers. How do the MMT's compare with those?

And for us guys that like to build for ourselves, what's the balance point like? Is it low enough to allow swingweighing in the low D's without adding weight?

I have no doubt that this is a great shaft but how can this shaft be more consistent compare to the steel shaft? Who would benefit the most from this product? Since graphite is lighter than steel, how do you maintain the desire swing weight.

We keep hearing the advancements in graphite irons shafts, but you don't see an increase in use from pros (PGA or Champions Tour) and high level amateurs. Are the results (spin, feel, consistency,etc.) equal to steel? Why do you think players are still reluctant to change?

Can you compare how this plays to the most stout steel shafts? X7, project x 7.0 and c taper 130x. Is dispersion as good?

I “think” I would like to make the switch to graphite irons. I am currently gaming Modus 105s in Stiff flex. My swing speed is declining. I would love to know if there is a benefit such as maintaining distance vs steel in addition to the vibration dampening? Which model should I be looking at if I have an 85-90mph driver swing speed?

Can you talk about soft stepping the 125 TX? I've considered picking up a set as my Project X 6.0 seem a bit tough on the joints. I hit my 32 degree 7 iron 175.

Can you also talk about the 120 S version that will be released later this quarter? How will the profile be different?

What attributes does the metal mesh contribute that you couldn't get with graphite alone?
