Hey cmon guys. He makes things interesting, and he’s clever enough to understand that. When he called for a judge over some ants, fat surprise that raised eyebrows. He gets a lot of attention and thats good for the Bryson Brand.

the flak he gets is pretty ridiculous. It would be one thing if he bombed it and then missed every cut but, the dude is in contention quite a bit.

He is proving what a lot of us herein have said about the distance issue. Yeah, he's hitting it longer than everyone else but that's not guaranteeing making the cut, let alone the win.

IMHO he's a little whiny, a little arrogant, and a little nerdy, but he is also good for golf.

I don't care for big baby bryson. He comes across as a complainer and an attention seeker. I don't care for that. When you're a public figure, you have to take the negative opinions too... That's not bullying.

 

Furthermore, we've redefined bullying to encompass to not agreeing with or having a negative opinion.

I liked his interview after yesterday's round where he talked about trying to change his perspective and attitude. Really surprising at his self-awareness and his comment that he had been perceiving bad luck as "happening to him" but not feeling the same way about his good breaks, and trying to do a better job of accepting the bad breaks. I don't want to say he is misunderstood, but he is undoubtedly trying to improve himself constantly, which is admirable.

He is the living embodiment of idiosyncratic.

As referenced above, I enjoyed his interview and enjoy most of his interviews. He's not perfect, and I get why many don't warm to him, especially when he acts out (I don't care for that stuff) but to me he is pretty interesting and I kind of like the "doing it my way" thing.

And we all know segments of wrx just can't stand new, young players with actual personalities who are successful (yet whine all the time about how all the other guys are duds) - so they actually don't like anybody, lol, or anyone who comments on TV about them, or their clothes, or probably their pets . . . .

And you can not like Bryson and not be one of "those" folks, believe me, not trying to go too far with that, but look at all the negative Rahm, Spieth, Cantlay type threads.
