Bingo. They are interested in making money and offering a 3-iron that has a low take rate on a model that already has a low take rate doesn't make financial sense.

 

And, not sure why we had to start another thread rather than just put these photos into one of the 2 existing threads about the JPX 921 but whatever

Amazing pics! I originally thought I'd be going for for the Forged...previously I 900 Hot Metals and 919 Forged, but I can see a return trip to the Hot Metals, they are so great looking and the extra distance never hurts!

Is that plastic decal thing on the tours inset or is sitting on top of the cavity? If it's sitting on top I can see a lot people just peeling it off for a cleaner look.

Edit: It looks to me like it is just sitting on top....

Basically a non starter for me on any of these as the soles have sharper front edges, lower bounce and no pre-worn soles. Oh well. I've learned my lesson enough times with Mizuno irons.

I was very interested in the forged until I saw they ditched the 3 iron. The rest look great for larger cavity backs.

They went shiny on heel and toe of the tours with a darker groove section? No likey. What I lived about the jpx tour line was the complete non-shiny coating. That combo of shiny and dull is not a sleek. That's disappointing.

I liked the non-shiny as well although on my 900 tours it looks really ugly as it has worn.
