I strongly recommend to check loft &lie from Mizuno build.

My older 919 HM was off by 2 degree on PW and GW which resulting moon ball and gapping was not consistent.

I will do the checking once I get my 921F arrives.

I ordered 921F but with standard lofts. Do you recommend me getting them checked anyway even if they are ordered standard?

Just an update with some rounds and some range sessions under the belt with the JPX 921 FliHi.  Its similar in sound and flight to my 19degree CLK G2. For me the CLK is a little more piercing flight while the FliHi is a higher flight while both flying similar yardage.  Both are dead straight flights, no weird hook to speak of.

I like the look of the FliHi from the set up better (no running bird logo or clumsy loft sleeve), but then the foot print seems better to my eye with the CLK due to it being slightly more compact.  Really a toss up.  Consequently, I do like the adjustability of the CLK to turn it to 20 degrees and getting the toe up a little as the 19* standard setting it seems very flat, where the FliHi is perfect ordered 1*flat and still has a very slight toe up look at address. I play every set of irons from fits at 1-2degrees flat, including my 921F's.

Really, for the money the FliHi is hard to beat, as I could game both for that gap between my 2 16* CLK and my 921F 4iron for the 225-230 tee ball. Worth a look if you need that gap filled and could save you some cash.

Wow!! I'm really surprised about the poor QC from Mizuno. Good thing I got mine fixed or my distances on the course would've been all over the place

I would do it just to be safe!

After 6 long weeks I finally got them! It is my first time ordering from Mizuno and I have to say, I am quite disappointed. I ordered these bent 2 degrees weak from the 8-4 and 1 degree weak for 9 and PW. We were in the midst of a gapping session when we noticed that the distances between some clubs were massive (25 yd difference between 9 and PW) and some clubs had less than 8 yards (6i and 5i). Turns out every single club was off by at least 1 degree from the ordered specs beside the PW. The 9 was off by 2 degrees, 8 and 7 off by 1 degree, 6i off by 2+ degrees and 5 and 4 off by ~1. He fixed em up for me and the distance gaps were much much better and closer to my current/old set (the lofts are only 1 degree stronger).

God xxxxxx damnit. They installed the wrong shaft..... I was fit into the $ taper X-stiff (130) and the ones on the club are 120.... we missed it yesterday =/ Every single thing about my order they did incorrect besides the grip!

After 6 long weeks I got clubs with completely wrong lofts and wrong shaft....

Check the swing weights. If the 5 and 6 are d4, 7 and 8 are d5, 9 and pw are d6 then you got mine...

Hahaha when is yours supposed to arrive?

I did hit up Chris on the live chat and he said it is likely that the sticker is wrong but the shaft is right but I will need to cut the grips to check. Will wait to hear back from my fitter first... he said he will be contacting Mizuno Canada.

Just picked up a set of 5-PW 921 Tour's for a great price. If anyone has a 4 iron they aren't using let me know.

You snagged those right before I could 😭 was next in line ready to pay. If you ever decide to move let me know.

I didn't notice much difference hitting them, I even went with a different club over the 921 Tour, I just love the 919 Tours but fancied a real blade again.

I think the 919 Tours look better, mine are in great condition after 2 years; far better than friends 900 Tours looked after 6 months.

Yeah I can’t imagine them being much different. I did try the JPX 921 Forged 7 iron and that club felt just as good in terms of softness but the performance was undeniable. What a line up from Mizuno. Hats off to them!

Really hoping this is the week.

Mizuno told my fitter that they would go out this week. Let’s hope that it’s early enough in the week to get them this week and not next week.

Ordered 10/15.

meanwhile I’m thinking of getting fit for a new driver shaft.

I too am hoping this is the week. Good luck. The weather has been beautiful here of late and want to take advantage

Right now the 5 is standard all the rest of the forged are 1 degree weak. The HMP is also 1 degree weak but I have not gotten the gaps on my 4-5 worked out yet. They may need to be tweaked. I feel good about my gaps the rest of the way thru the set.

Thanks, same to you! Weathers been great here, as well.

My fitter didn't seem optimistic about being able to get a tracking number before I would receive it.

Ive been hoping it will show up on my fed ex delivery manager without a tracking number (supposedly has that capability)... but yeah the wait is killing me lol.

Seems like this is happening waaayyyy to often! Makes me nervous for mine coming in two weeks from modern golf in Calgary.

On my custom 921F and T20 wedges, everyone was off 1 degree either way on lie and some of the lofts had to matched to stock spec as well.  Luckily this was all done with my custom build.  My builder said he still thinks out of the OEM builds, Mizuno is still number 1. I have a feeling that being short staffed with covid and then the mass influx of this 921 launch, we had some lesser experienced or (new to Mizuno) folks building clubs which lends to some of uncharacteristic misses.  Extra epoxy, ferrules turned down properly, shaft label and grip misaligned, etc...

Always good to double check on any OEM build.

Going to get fitted for a new driver shaft to pass the time. Fitter told me he would call Mizuno to get an update before I get there.

I suck at the driver and ended up with no shaft. Legit suck with my driver.

But... the good news is... Fitter called Mizuno and Mizuno said it was on the truck to be shipped today and I should have it by the end of the week or Monday depending on shipping speed. Order date 10/15.

Connecticut here. I am literally refreshing fedex hoping it somehow will show up into my account based on my address.

Hopefully yours are coming as well. After wasting my fitters time trying to hit driver today, im sure hes gonna not be pleased when I want him to check the lies next week lol

Just want to say how much I'm enjoying hitting the hot metal pros.  When I hit one off the toe it not only feels like a solid strike, but there is no club turning/twisting as a result of the mishit and the ball flight is great. I honestly didn't know that some shots were hit towards the toe until I looked down and saw the ball mark left behind on the new faces.

Some may not like that sort of feedback, but I'd rather a slight mishit feel great and fly straight rather than feeing like a weak miss (with some twisting/turning) and end up way off line.

Y’all got me shook here with that biz. I’m already annoying my fitter with updates.  I owe him a tip for sure.

That's a great idea. I will bring a case of beer or something with me. Money well spent.

So that Fedex idea is genius. I look at my phone and I have a text notification from Fedex that an order was picked up from Braselton, GA so now I have a tracking #. Hasn't told me the ship date yet but I am praying for Friday.
