Anyone know who makes the Clear logo'd straw hat that Charl Schwartzel wears?

Clear got them at a deep discount from Reebok since Norman's stock has fallen.

Yea, I looked on their site, they only have the regular ball cap type. I'm guessing it may be the Norman hat as suggested above, I would just like a different logo on it, but maybe I could change it.

I know you're just asking who makes the hat, but can I just say that I think it's ridiculous that the commentators have been making fun of the hat when he's on air? Wearing wide-brim hats for sun protection is a great idea, so I find it extremely annoying when the commentators are making snide comments about Schwartzel's hat.

As much as I dislike Norman, I'd love to see the announcers lip off about his straw hat to his face, just to see them be set in their place. Cancer ain't funny.

Exactly. Never heard anything bad about Norman's hat back in the day (that I can remember), so not sure why the hate now.

 

I ran into an older guy last year that saw me putting on sunscreen before the round. Came over and said "that's a good idea, don't want to end up looking like me" before turning his head and showing half his ear gone. Explained he never took the sun seriously until it was already too late.

Yep, I just had my left ear rebuilt from grafts from my thigh due to melanoma.  I now wear wide brim hats from American Hat Makers and Wallaroo Hats.  At first I was a little embarrassed wearing something that seemed so unusual.  But now, they are just part of the ensemble.  
 

I just wish major OEM’s would offer branded hats with wide brim styles.  I don’t like the bucket hats.

I made the switch to wide brim hats recently as well and still get asked about it from time to time. Starting to see more players with them though, which is great. At the range yesterday I noticed 4 or 5 people wearing bucket/wide-brim hats.

After having a quarter size part of my face cut off next to my eye I began wearing brimmed hats again instead of visors. This year I picked up a very nice Montecristi that is vented on the top.

 

I'm just a happy customer, but if it's allowed, Panamahatsdirect.com has treated me well. I have one of their less expensive hats  (7 years old and still great) and the new one and they'really have given me excellent service. They even answer the phone or call back whenever I have called them.
