I'm trying to figure out if the DHY would be of any benefit for me vs. the SIM Max hybrid that I currently have. I hit the SIM Max hybrid off the tee pretty decently after getting used to it. It doesn't balloon on me or anything, and i don't hook it.

Hideki had the SIM DHY in the bag today. A lot of the TM staffers had UDI's built up and I'm sure we're going to see a lot more of these find bags soon.

I got fit into the DHY 3 iron w/ Kbs Proto 105X at CC this week, couldn’t believe it but it was shooting 245-255 yard missile right down the pipe for me. Ball speeds ranging from 152-155.

 

 I wasn’t quite flushing the Sim UDI (was bent 1 degree strong to match the 19 degrees of the DHY 3 iron) and it had a tendency to leak left for me. The Sim UDI’s ball speeds were down and it was carrying about 10-12 yards shorter for me with same Kbs Proto shaft, but that’s attributed to not quite flushing it like the DHY.
 

The DHY was a clear winner for me and is instantly replacing my p790 non UDI 3 iron

Anyone hit the UDI with the PX smoke shaft? Curious what your thoughts are on it. I’ve got the original P790 3i head with a tensei pro white 90g Tx in it now. And wanting the udi and if I don’t like the smoke shaft I’ll just swap over my Tensei in it

Thoughts on DHY off the deck in the fairway vs rough? I have no doubts it would be nice to have on the tee.

Diamana thump in dhy would be my preference. Too light of a shaft in the stock dhy.

Just ordered a 2 iron DHY with the Diamana Thump 90 Stiff tipped 1/2 inch. Will report once in-hand and I've had a chance to spend some time with it.

Ordered a SIM UDI 3i w/ PX Smoke shaft 6.5! Excited to see how it performs. If I don’t love the shaft I’ll switch over my Tensei Pro White I have currently

I did the same but with a 6.0 in the PX Smoke! Ship date shows 9/4 but I am praying it somehow gets delivered before then.

Yeah me to headed on a golf trip on the 14th. I’m sure it will get here before than. Shipping date hasn’t changed since they became available for pre order! Hopefully next week ? I went 6.5 cause I liked the 92g weight vs the 80ish grams. Have you played the smoke shaft before?? I haven’t but wanted a low spin and launch shaft

I was bummed they didn't have the 90g 6.0 option for the custom build, great call on your end to go heavier! I am going to try out the 81 gram option first and if I need to bump it up find one on eBay. 

 

I have and I like the feel. Much less of a re-bar feel than the other PX HZRDUS shafts I have hit.

Awesome good to know it’s a smoother feel sorta vs rebar feel! I don’t mind if the shaft plays like a steel iron shaft. Kinda hoping that’s what feels like!

Same. Makes no sense they would send separate from my irons (P7MC). I paid $20 for overnight so they are paying overnight shipping from CA to NC twice. I need to have a talk with their accounting department. ?

Man that DHY looks like it'd fit in the bag real nicely, just picked up a G400 crossover but I'd be curious as to what differences/improvements there would be for the TM.

When did you guys order? Wonder if that expected ship date of 9/4 they quoted me is them low balling me or not. It's like waiting for Christmas morning!

I ordered 8/14. My Dhy must have got Covid’d. I decided I wanted to take the rest of the week off the play golf so I told HR I was protesting, because something just happened in the middle west. I stopped in to the office after golf, and poof, no club. Checked online and shipping got pushed back to Monday. Mehhh. Oh well.

Well got my DHY 3.  Ordered -1/4" but went with Tensei Pro White 90S instead of the stock shaft.  SW came in at C8.5 and it should've been close to a wash.  Hopefully the actual weight is the same that is in the SIM fairway so I ordered a heavier one.  Slightly disappointed but not that big of a deal.

Midsize grip?

Std sw is D2...with std size grip.

Got mine yesterday, -1/4" with wrong std grip and sw was D1...perfect.

Installed my midsize grip...mcc align +4 and sw c7.5.

Will be changing the sole weight from 4.6g to 8g to get about c9 sw...ie d2

No just regular Tour Velvet. I ordered an 11g which will be perfect. Mine was 4.7g. Club looks great.

For those who have already ordered where are you seeing the expected ship date in your order details?

 

I ordered a UDI last week and I just see the status as "In Queue".  When I went through the order the club showed as in stock(UDI #2 Thump X) the expected ship date was 9/4- but now it looks like everything is bumped out and there are no X-flex available. ?
