Thanks for the post. I did say we would do the right thing and make this place the cats ass and we will continue to build on this momentum. As I said we have really toggled down the options and limited some of my favorite features due to the servers but wee have some beasts coming to handle the calls. Shouldn't take to long. 

 

Wee also have a lot of mods in the works to allow us to filter through the posts and topics to highlight the more popular in each forum, BST feedback, Who's online on all levels etc. 

 

We are here for the long haul.

Great work guys to make this move. Even though being on Vanilla was frustrating, the lessons from that experience helped you rebuild WRX 3.0. Kudos to you about taking a step back to move three steps forward!
 

Question when you say app, do you mean the official invision app? Funny I still have the OG golfwrx app on my phone still!

Yes.  When we move to Invision 4.5, it will be a non tapatalk app.

I didn't lose my mind over the previous change(s) and haven't given this latest version a great workout yet.  

 

It does look fantastic.  Can't be easy (no pun intended) to retool again, and I always assume the owners make changes based on real expectations, so I have to believe this will work out.

 

This is still the best golf site/resource out there IMO and I'll continue to enjoy it as I have for many years, so thanks for continuing to do whatever is felt necessary to keep it the best it can be!

"Initial reactions" and a forum to list and discuss issues is not the same IMO.

 

IMO the perfect thread to discuss search problems is in the thread to discuss search problems,,,,,,,, which I listed earlier.

4.5 just went gold and we are still stabilizing and optimizing this board version. We are avoiding adding modifications as we want to move to 4.5 ASAP. 
 

We need to validate 4.5, tentative next week and then upgrade this board. This may take a few weeks, and hopefully minimal bugs. 

 

The feedback system is supposed to be upgraded this weekend/next as well to be 4.5 compatible. If the stars align, probably end of Sept but maybe sooner.

Yes they were tough but not as tough as they were last year when we migrated to thee other and learned real quick how slow changes were being completed. That was hell. We are excited and more excited knowing what is to come.

Thank you. This place is our pride and joy. We love it. And NOTHING will stop in our way to continue to build on this recent momentum. Learning from mistakes is ok as long as we don't make to many. I personally want to move faster than the engineers say I can. Soon we will have some VERY expensive servers that will allow us to showcase more options. It shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks. Of course I want it yesterday but at risk of a major mistake I can wait. 

 

We will have BST feedback, mobile app, dark mode, widgets that users will love, and much more. Very excited.
