I had this same problem yesterday and sent the email requested last night.

 

This morning I signed out and back in again and was able to post. I really don't recall trying that last night though so I can't say whether I'd have been OK had I done that without sending the email. Bu tyou guys might give that a try.

 

That said I still can't add a "picture" to my signature - I CAN add a picture to a post.

No it's not.  Been spinning my wheels for over an hour to get a simple quote and text response to work.  To no avail.  Keep getting the same error message being cited ITT.  Beyond infuriating.

Still getting the message when trying to post a PICTURE either in a regular post OR in my signature. Regular posting is fine.

As you can see from the picture below, it now seems to be working again. I'll try the same thing in my signature in a minute.

 

OK, I edited my signature with a picture and did NOT get the "blocked" message anymore BUT it did reject the picture. Apparently the limit on pictures is 100x100 pixels. That is absolutely TINY. Nobody will be uploading any pics in their sigs.

If you ask me, not having anyone post photos in the signature line is great!  Some of these signatures are too big as it is.

Agreed. There actually is a restriction on pic size (100X100 pixels(?), incredibly small) so basically "no pictures". ?
