The Mavrik Max is the greatest driver ever

I still think the original Epic is as long as anything i've ever hit. To me the Max feels like a bit more forgiving version of the Epic Subzero i own, and with improved sound. The original Epic was a bit dull for me

Yes the Mavrik certainly has an  improved sound and feel.

That time you spend 600$ on a new driver (RadSpeed XB) and you're back on the Mav Max within 2 weeks

This driver is so good you have to TRY to miss fairways to even have a chance to miss them

there's like a 50 page thread on the G400 Max. The Max Mav buries that club . I literally own both. This forum is biased man!

I ended up with one of these after a friend offered to buy my rogue. The Mac Max is definitely more forgiving than the rogue was. I have the 14 gram weight in the heel right now. In favoring heel side on strike and my miss right now is a bit of a slice. Need to work on my swing. But also thinking of shortening to 45 or 44.5 from the stock 45.5” length and picking up a few heavier weights to adjust swing weight?

Anyone else with one go a little shorter?

We're going on a Minimalist Adventure who knows were we'll end up:

"Full" bag currently looks like this:

Taylormade Sim Max 7w Mitsubishi Diamana F Limited 75S

I play my RadSpeed XB at 44.5 and hit more fairways with my 45.5 Mav and it's probably 10yds longer (given the shaft length, this makes sense)

Honestly i'm probably hitting 70% of my Fairways with the Mavrik and the misses are still in play. So i definitely won't shorten mine

I've owned this a year and a half now, and i feel confident saying it's my favorite driver ever.

it is part of The Great Pingspiracy. But I’ve already said too much, I can hear the black helicopters coming from AZ. Save yourselves!

I lived in Mesa, AZ for awhile back in the 80s and those black helicopters are real.🙃

I recently switched from a sim to a maverick sub zero. The sub zero is probably my favorite driver ever, perfect feel and sound off the face and ball just jumps off. My previous favorite was the 975d so it’s been a long search haha. The sub zero kind of feel like those old springboard steel/titanium drivers

I know this is months later, but I didn't see any other responses.  I recently built up a Mavrik Max and have played just 2 rounds on it.  Playing it at 44.5" and I'm loving it.  I'm only 5'9" so I always have to trim any drivers I play.

Only reason i don't use this club anymore is i developed a small crack in the face. I might put it back in play and see if it fully cracks and i can get a replacement LOL

Haven't tried the Mav Max, but the regular Mav is such a ridiculously good driver.... Had a Sim2 Max in my hands today and went to the check out line only to rethink it and put it back.  No need.

I think you’re confusing the Mavrik Max with the G425 Max….

Can we talk about how this expression doesn't make much sense? Like a bigger piece of fish doesn't really require much change to the frying process, unless you are getting to the point where the fish is too big to fit in the fryer, and then it's not that you are frying a bigger fish that's the issue, it's that you are shopping for industrial sized frying equipment and your oil budget starts to register as part of your countries GDP....

Anyways... I have a Mavrik SubZero, and I like the forgiveness, but need to up the headweight... I've got some various weights on order, and I'm hoping it gets me more dialed in... my misses are definitely better with it, and I've hit some bombs with it... I tried the Epic when I had some shaft problems (hosel came unglued) and HATED the sound...

It replaced a Cobra LTD that I figured would last another few years... but I won the Mavrik and have liked it for the most part this season... I think once I get the weight dialed in, it's going to be perfect.

I've been thinking about this for a few minutes, and I guess it's more "look at all these fish that need frying! I should get to work... but let's not fry that one, it's small and people are hungry and I've got bigger fish to fry"... Anyways, good luck with your church picnic.

Did anyone ever figure out what the Mavrik Max single diamond driver was supposed to do and what its attributes were? Maybe @JohnnyCallaway knows?
