I know you're understandingly concerned; but we're talking about Brooke Henderson, the Girl Wonder.

 

Brooke may miss cut once in a blue moon; but she hasn't missed two consecutive weeks ever.

 

I can't confidently say she'll contend, but I wouldn't be surprised if she does.

I will say this about the Walmart event is that even if Brooke isn't playing her best she should be able to out score her mistakes like most other conventional LPGA courses and make the cut.  At the AIG, especially the first 2 days, there wasn't much scoring available and every mistake hung around your neck like a 1 ton stone.  So even if she still makes some bogeys there will be plenty of birdies to balance it out.

Sophia only played her first practice round on Wednesday morning. We played a few holes with her early that morning. Amazing she went on to win.
