Clicking on Already Read Thread Sends You to First Post

Clicking on an already read (and participated) thread sends you to the first post as if you have not read any posts in the thread.

 

When clicking on a thread you have already read some of the posts (or participated in), shouldn't it send you to the latest post you have not yet read?

I think in WRX 2.0 you could click on the thread title and it would send you directly to the last unread post ... or directly to the last post if all posts in the thread had already been read. Now the way it is - if you want to go to the last post in a thread in which you have already read all the posts you need to go to the right-hand side of the forum page and click on the time/date under the last poster's username. Not a big deal but in my opinion WRX 2.0 was better with regard to this feature.

WRX 1.0 was like it was now. In WRX 2.0, if you clicked on the star, it would take you to the first post of the whole thread (not first unread). It took me forever to re-train myself, and now I need to unlearn what 2.0 made me do. lol

Seems like clicking on the TITLE of the thread ALWAYS takes you to the FIRST post on the thread.

The round button or the star to the left of a thread title do the same thing - take you to the first UNREAD post.

The star indicates you’ve posted on that thread already, the button means you have not.

If you want the LAST post of the thread, to the RIGHT there is the last poster’s name AND a date/time below their name. Click on the date/time.

This does not work for me. Threads I have selected the star still go to first post when I open the thread. I hope this gets fixed. I liked the feature in WRX 2.0 that every time I went back to a thread it brought me to the last post I had read (no need to click on last post made and scroll backwards to where I had left off).

Here's the issue: If I've caught up with the thread, I cannot click the star. It's greyed out/disabled (because I've read it). Old version used to be able to click on it (thread title) and it would take you to last read, and if all were read, LAST POST (so you can post anew). That's not a current capability, but should exist. 

You have to go to 1st post, then last page/end, then post - which is not user friendly nor like the old function (on either old, or older, versions).

Not sure I totally understand what you're saying.

 

Are you clicking ON the star ? Or on the title ?

Should just be able to jump to the last post read when clicking title. It's driving me crazy to.

If you've listed a Forum with the threads below you can get to the last thread by clicking on the date/time of the last poster/post (to the right).

 

If you've listed say, "My Content" or something else that doesn't have the last poster/post to the right you can click on the date/time at the bottom (for "Expanded") or the right (for "Condensed" and that should take you to the last post.
