Golf Towels?

Hi All!

 

This is probably one of my more ridiculous posts but here I am... ?

 

I was playing over the weekend and lost my towel.... You might think "who cares?" I got that towel as part of the "swag" from my last AJGA Tournament. For 13 years (and MANY MANY rounds of golf) its been on my bag. I was walking and it fell off my bag as I walked and I didn't notice. Went back a couple holes later but it had already been picked up.

 

My question... are there any "cool" golf towels out there? I see Seamus makes some so that's kinda what I'm after--something that's a rectangular towel (i.e. without the clip).

I like Winston towels or whatever brand they use.  Tons of the boutique golf "brands" use them for their towels but you can also get blanks.

Those Seamus towels look nice, I have a few of their headcovers and love them. 

 

My wife and I use Palm Golf towels (we also are using their gloves). Love the fun patterns, in some ways similar to Seamus.

+1 for the ebay gym workout towel.. hold moisture better than microfiber and cleans better. Also softer on your face if you use it for sweat. 

 

There are some funny ones by guys like Patrick Gibbons, Muni Kids etc. if that's your thing. Some club and shaft makers also make swag towels.

I usually get mine at roger Dunn for 15 bucks. A few more than eBay but oh well. Go through maybe 2-3 a year when they get to nasty.

I agree.  I use one end for face and arms and the other for clubs.  They do hold water very well to wipe clubs clean.

Oddly enough, I did a search for threads on towels and... I don't know if my browser doesn't like the search function, or if I didn't do it right, but my search only returned two threads even mentioning the word "towel"...

A single towel is $2.59 and shipping is 8.99, total price over $11.

Shipping a dozen towels to Phoenix is $18. So $55 total or about $4.58 a towel. Not bad.

I use these 8-stripe caddy towels.  A little more expensive than the others but I prefer a black towel as it hides the dirt much better.  I even took it to my tailor and had a slit put in the center of it to hang over a single club.

You can choose to buy just 1 of each towel if you don't want to buy in bulk. It is under the drop down menu. I only needed 3, it cost 18 dollars total with shipping. $6/per still fine by me.
