Anyone wear Lululemon pants on the course? Looking for a new brand of pants after not loving any of the pants I have worn the past couple fall/spring seasons - mostly Nike and UA. Looking for a little bit more high end and more tailored fit (I did a search for lululemon but nothing came up - maybe because of the update, sorry if this is a double post)

Due to COVID my industry has relaxed some fashion norms, so I've found myself wearing Lulu pants at work 3-4 days a week. I usually like the look of a cotton-ish polo better for a work environment, but you can't wear cotton on the course in this part of the country due to humidity. The great thing is the pants go with both cotton or "performance" polos like Peter Millar, Footjoy, etc. and you don't get that dreaded multi-fabric look that you run into with other brands.

Also, I have the Bonobos pants that are a bit cheaper and go on sale frequently that everyone loves. I think they're great and am happy I bought a pair, but IMO they are not close to as nice as the Lulu's.

Agreed that LL’s are great. Better than my Bonobos Tour Highlands. I don’t think I could stomach the $130 price tag though. Luckily I get them at a discount so Inhave a couple pair

Also interested in the LL pants - how do they handle summer heat? Trying to find a light pair of pants that are good for blocking out the sun, but can still wear at other times of the year.

Lulu is all I wear, pants and shorts.  I have both the ABC and Commission.  Personally I like the Commission a bit better for golf only because getting tees/ball marks out of my pocket is a bit easier.  They are by far the most comfortable pants/shorts I have ever worn.  Anti Ball Crushing is life changing, the rest of your clothes will become irrelevant.

On or off the course, I largely wear lululemon pants (unless wearing a suit). I have commission, ABC, commission slim, ABC slim, in the Warpstreme, wool, canvas, and cotton. Great pants. The warpstreme  are great for spring, summer and fall golf. They can be a little cold in the northeast winter, when I wear the other versions.

Lulus are the only place to go for golf pants. I really do like the Greyson pants as well, but they are even more expensive than Lulus and are extremely hard to find a place that has Greysons to try on. Being able to get the Lulus hemmed in store to the length you want for free is a game changer. Lulu is the best choice out there. I personally prefer the ABC because I prefer 5 pocket pants on the course. But the commission are great too. It’s really a style preference because they are the same material. I’m up to 5 pairs of Lulus now and they are basically all I wear to work and the course.

Love them. I have 2 pairs of the ABC pants (used to have 3 others, but lost some weight and had to revamp the golf wardrobe) and 3 pairs of the Commission Shorts (Warpstreme fabric). They're the best quality golf clothes I've ever owned and last forever. I used to buy whatever was cheap and on sale but I finally realized "buy cheap, buy twice" and just started buying stuff that was higher quality and that I 100% loved. All of my golf pants/shorts are either Lululemon or Bonobos Golf now.

I found that my abc commission pants lost their shape a little bit after a few washes. They are still comfy and fine to wear, just a little looser in the calf area. It doesn’t bother me, but may bother some.

the warpstreme material is a little thick, so may not be the best choice when it’s really hot out

Agree with this.  I switch to the nike stretch pants when it gets a little warmer.  I love the fit of them, they are just a little thin if there is a crisp in the air.  Between the two of them I have all my pant weather covered.

At one point Lulu produced some of the best pants around for golf.  Quality is really bad now though.   I moved on.

Still making the best pants on the market for quality and fit. I've got every colour in the ABC slim and they look, fit, and feel the same as the day I bought them after tons of wear and washes. Bad quality is not something I'd ever associate with Lululemon pants.

Same here. I have a pair that I bought 4 years ago and they still look brand new after probably a hundred washes.

lululemon stands behind their stuff. If it’s not holding up the way you expect, you can generally bring it back to a store without a receipt or tags and exchange it for an equivalent item If the same size. I’m not sure of the exact policy, but they generally will try to help you out if it’s a legitimate issue.
