PXG Order Processing Time

Has anyone placed an order from PXG recently? I placed an order for the 0311 Gen2 irons after getting fit a few weeks ago. My specs are pretty much all standard. It has now been 2 weeks with no updates, just says order "In process" with no estimated ship date. In the age of 2 day Prime shipping, waiting weeks for anything feels like an eternity. Anyone care to comment on recent order delivery time?

Takes 4-6 weeks.  I got mine last month in just over 4 weeks.

Thanks! Were there any updates along the way, or just a notification once they shipped? Was quoted 2-3 weeks when I got fit. I'm more just curious what the bottleneck is. Seems like if you don't have any unusual specs or shafts/grips that are backordered, they should just be able to bang these clubs in a few days.

I ordered a set of 0211 irons in 3 waves. The first order was right at the start of the pandemic and the sale, the last iron was delivered about a week ago. About 6 weeks at the beginning, about 4 weeks for the recent order. The Order status will give an estimated date, flip to in assembly (for several weeks possibly), then final inspection for a short time before they ship. I had been a frequent iron flipper. The 0211s check all the boxes for me.

Ordered Gen 3’s and took about two weeks and then ordered Proto driver and took a week.  Just received the driver yesterday.  

 

I think the Gen 3’s and Proto driver have the fastest ship times.  Guessing Milled Wedges do too.

The front page of their website gives an explanation of their shipping times. They've been running sales since March and they're extremely swamped with orders. Sprinkle in operational delays due to Covid and you get the why answered. Just be patient, their clubs are well worth it.

It doesn't really go into a ton of detail, but this is what it says:

 

"Please be advised: Shipping of 0211 Iron and other GEN2 Products may be extended by up to two weeks. GEN3 Irons, Prototype Drivers, apparel, and accessory orders typically ship within one week of purchase. Find order updates here or call 1-844-PLAY-PXG"

I ordered Gen 3's on 7/29.  They shipped August 20.  Expected delivery FedEx Ground tomorrow.  They shipped from Phoenix.  I live in NJ.

There are shortages of parts during the pandemic and PXG is slow AF anyway.  Not great on the follow up.  Just hold tight, they'll come.

Looked, saw and paid, have not heard from PXG since, trying to get information out of them is impossible. £—- so money taken and nothing to show for it, not even a confirmation email. Scary! Customer service, what customer service?

I got a confirmation email within 24 hours of the order.  It came with a link to track order progress and a PDF of the order with all the specs it would be built to.  It also warns that Gen2 build times are longer as they prioritize newer equipment.  Thus far I’ve been beyond impressed with PXG and anxious to get my driver and hybrid.  Heck, I’ve debated grabbing a fairway to match!

This is pretty much the normal process. It might be a little slower since Christmas is tomorrow. Nothing to fret over, they're not going to screw anyone.

They’re aren’t any major OEMs that update through the build process. Usually you’ll just get a confirmation email for the order, then the shipping confirmation. Usually the only places you get updates along the way are the fitting shops themselves if they’re getting product in and doing the build themselves.

If you decide to do this and your current build hasn't really gotten under way, you can call PXG and order over the phone and have them attach that order to your current.  It'll get a new order number but ship together w/ the original order and reduce an extra shipping fee.  I've done that more than once 🤣

I’m about to get fitted here next week. I love my P790 and when I bout those I really wanted the PXG but they were just a little out of my price point. Now that I have been more serious about golfing I’m buying the set I really wanted. The PXG’s. Especially with the price drop. Hope they stay that way for a minute while I figure out what I need/want.

I placed my order for a Gen2 driver and hybrid on 12/20 and it shipped on 12/30.  Have been very happy with the communication and can’t wait for the product.  At the time the 19 hybrid was out of stock but looks like it’s back now.  If I dig the 22 I’ll be adding a 19 and maybe a 3 wood or X 2 iron.  We’ll see!

I ordered the black Jack December 31 and was told it was on back order so I might be waiting for it up to a month. A week later and it’s at my door. Super stoked. Wasn’t expecting such a quick turnaround. Really interested in the Gen 3 irons now.

Ordered a 2 iron Jan 6th and it shipped Jan 9th, expected delivery Jan 15th. I know I only ordered one club but I was very surprised at the quick turnaround.
