Had this one arrive a few days ago. 33” center shaft Savona Elite with standard size Iomic grip. This one has the skim milled face. I love this head shape and am considering a Savona 2 Elite next for a little flow...

Here is my 1 and only Piretti...a 1 of 50 solid copper Prototype.  Haven't gotten much of a chance to use it yet, hoping to next season.  I must say the headcover is the nicest quality one I own.

I own #13 from that release... I did a little personalization to mine....... Replaced the shaft with single bend, to reduce offset and add a little toe hang.....also did some strategic weighting to change the balance...

Very nice, love the patina it's starting to take on.  My other copper putter is starting to turn that way.  What amount of toe hang does yours have now?  Did you install a heavier shaft, install weight plugs or a counter balance grip/weight?

Love the slant neck above as well.

Also love their headcovers, the quality of the material and the magnets is fantastic. Anyone know makes the headcovers for them? I wish Scotty Cameron would stop using the cheaper Velcro and use some nice magnetic ones like Piretti.

Leather with magnets 😁🙂😁.... these are what I have.....the white Circle P came with my G.O.A.T and inner tag says 'MADE IN CHINA'.... The 'Angry Face' with Skulls and the Skull and Crossbones both have tags that read 'EP HEADCOVERS BUILT FOR Piretti '.....

I have the stock headcover for my 303SS Cortino 2 and I just today received the headcover that comes stock with their new midnight series and both as well say made in china on the tag, but it's interesting they're using EP headcovers for some of their models but not all. I wonder who makes the other ones.

I also couldn't be more jealous that you have a G.O.A.T putter, those look fantastic!

It has about 4:00 toe hang .......

To get the static weight to 555 grams with a balance of E-2 on the scale , to match the 20 + other putters in my rotation, I went with a 10 gram lighter .370" tip diameter iron shaft...My brother ( an amatuer knife maker ) did the custom bend. To hide the discoloration from torching I gave it a Duplicolor Mirage paint job. Depending on lighting the color changes from black to green to purple. The grip is a 58 gram Gripmaster Tour and counter balance is done with sugar and foam backing rod.....

Wow, this is kind of insane.  haha!  Sounds like the perfect hobby for you and your brother though.  That's awesome to have all your putters matching.  I try to match most of my grips and lofts but enjoy a little variation in my headweights, shafts and overall weights.

I pretty much have 1 true gamer though, try to focus mostly on that one during the golf season.

Insane ?? . My Piretti carbon Forza Midnight fitted with an Accra P300 graphite shaft , is definatly the most insane modification I have done....over the post install on a flow neck required radical modifications .... Not for the squeamish or faint of heart.....feel is sublime....

So how much did you have to grind down the post to get that Accra shaft on?

Alot...all of it ...chopped off the post,

Replaced it with a smaller diameter pin made of tooling steel . Plus did a little boring on the thick walled tip of the shaft to increase tip I.D.

Final move was to strip the graphics off the shaft ( older edition with the gaudy, big print yellow).....

Yeah I have a few of those Accra shafts, the tips have next to no space to get anything into them.

But I am curious on how you stripped the graphics. I have 3 of those older ones and the graphics are stopping me from installing them into a few putters.

Sorry for the slow response time to your question....I was at work and something came up that required me to actually work.....and this process involved more than a simple answer....

I started with Citri-Strip Gel ,which has worked very well in past on removing paint and graphics from heads and shafts....it got some of the paint and graphics off, but not all....after several applications , I resorted to a more aggressive approach, involving light scraping and sanding with wet/dry 400 / 800 sandpaper.....this left the area where the graphics were , a dark slate gey color..next step was to try to restore to black to match rest of shaft.....

I started with Meguiar's Medium-Cut

Cleaner (used for auto paint oxidation) with buffing wheel... then gave it another round of buffing with Maguire's Swirl Remover2.0... blending the original black finish still left on the lower portion of the shaft to the former graphics area....Final step was using a Turtle Wax Restore  product made for black auto paint , buffed again......

In the end I was successful in getting it to a close match to the original black.....the blending I did made it less noticeable....you wouldn't notice unless you knew what you were looking at with a discerning eye....

Are the head dimensions between the Savona Elite and the Savona 2 Elite much different? I know the Savona 2 has a flow neck and my Savona is a center shaft and has no neck... but I see the Savona 2 has a taller more broad/blunt backside to the fangs as they are able to mill the word “Elite” in there... Are there any other dimensional differences between these two heads? Thanks

There is a huge difference between both . Footprint of the full size Savona is like twice the size of the Savona 2 Elite. Mine fits in a Rose and Fire mid-mallet headcover...for comparison,  it is not much bigger than a Scotty Squareback....In the Piretti group photo ( far right). you  can get an idea of how big the Savona 2 Elite is by comparison with the Bosa next to it..
