Arthoscopic Elbow Surgery

Recommended Posts

Having 4-5 bone chips removed from my dominant elbow and wondering if anyone who has had this done can share their experience.  How long was it until you were back to golf - chipping and putting?  Full Swing?

Also any post op experience you can share would be great too -  pain level, physical therapy, etc

Thanks so much!

I had this done in January and although it’s getting better it still is not where it should be. I’ve been doing PT consistently but there’s still a lot of tenderness and can’t fully straighten it. The pain is manageable but it is uncomfortable and I’m not saying it feels completely normal. Kind of like someone pulled a rubber band to tight in that area. Hope that helps some.

I had it done a couple of years ago, and don’t remember being out that long...maybe a couple of months.  Basically since there’s no internal repair, it just a matter of the incision site healing up.
