Some of your know that a few of us have been long time WFT fans. Week 12 was special for us. We have deserved a nugget of joy for a very long time. 

 

Big dominate win in Dallas on Thanksgiving Day.

Complete the sweep of the Cowboys for the season.

Move into first place ( i know nfc least) in the division.

Woot! just clinched the office pool for the week from all of those computer geeks that work at my Cousins job the clandestined office called the NSA over in suburban Maryland.  I am in their pool because they have avid football geeks who either root for the Ravens, WFT, or the Steelers. My Mom's family hates the Ravens and pull hard for the Steelers. So I have my entry fee for next year covered, as Carl Spackler says, "which is nice" I actually had Carolina with the upset that was wide left in the end. Still got the cover in our pick 3 with the spread, but I am a fan of what Carolina and their young team are trying to do.  Would have liked to see them pull that out.  Hats off to Cousin's for bringing them back.  

 

It was one of those weeks where almost everything went great. The two picks I missed straight up were Carolina, and Las Vegas which everyone missed, This leads me to our picks with the spreads

 

Speaking of the Saints as they say in DFS that is what you call a "free square pick". WHO in their right mind would even think of picking Denver with that line?  That game should have been taken down. I cannot fathom what the NFL in their desperation to keep the season moving must have been thinking?  Not to mention the denial of the coach who said "put me in coach"  I know one guy Denver could have signed, out there in a van!

Elway would have done better playing yesterday than what they put on the field.

Wow.

I'm with doctoro that the Saints-Broncos game should have been taken down off the board in Vegas. It wasn't so I allowed the Saints picks to continue in our contest.

How unfair was that for Tampa Bay who is trying to win that division and the Saints get that "free game" against a quarterbackless team? 

Pretty wild decision.

Now I'm hearing that the 49rs have to move to Phoenix to finish their games because of the Santa Clara County , CA. ruling? They are not allowed to even play at a local university' s football field in NorCal.

The NFL is going to have to extend the regular season so that make up games can fairly be played. I would think maybe an extra playoff game or two as well.

We are truly grateful for having this season play out , but  2020 in the NFL is turning into a crazy, wild, and "really different" experience.

2 games remain. Russ tonight and Big Ben tomorrow night.
