Well, I'm out of hiding after that beatdown in Miami Monday night.  That was hard to watch.  Mac Jones had all day to throw the ball and we decided not to even cover the Heisman trophy award winner.  Sark was the real MVP of that game IMO. Najee went beast mode.  He made himself a lot of money that evening.  You know who lost a lot of money Monday night?? Poor Shawn Wade.  He went from declaring for the draft with a 1st or 2nd round grade to coming back this year and getting worked all season long, especially Monday night.  Oh well, there's always next year. Rethink and reload!!

I guess I am the last one in the pool.

I honestly like the last minute picks. With my hectic life it's not easy to actually sit down and think about what picks I am going to make.

That said these are some great match ups on paper. 

But injuries might affect one game badly.

And a lop sided early win might affect the betting on another.

I am not sure I am buying the Browns playing a close one against Andy Reid coming off the bye.

I know the Browns hung 28 on the Steelers early but then hung on because Mike Tomlin decided to get real defensive in a slugfest. I will never understand why he wets to bed in the playoffs. He's a great team builder, but my God ! Punting the effing ball! Are you kidding me!?  

 

Not Sold on the Chiefs this year they haven't covered a spread hardly at all this year

I know they have a bye, playing at home, Andy Reid off a bye, I get all of that. But those 10 points look like they are there for the taking. I you have to do is say gimme the candy! 

Candy accepted I went back and forth at first I thought this was the easiest of the games to pick

Chiefs might hang 56 on their own and crush the Browns, I would not be surprised. But Browns +10 please. Pour Some Sugar On Me! those back door covers are so sweet

 

Packers vs Rams Looks like a slam dunk for the home team Packers!  Rams traveling to the cold tundra, and Goff is a surf kid from Cali playing with a bad thumb. He didn't throw all that great with a healthy thumb. Aaron Donald the new minister of Defense is iffy to play. What this tells me is if the Rams somehow beat the Packers, because I don't see the Browns beating the Chiefs. I think that will be the upset of the year! Especially with Rodgers playing lights out and having secured the number one seed! But Sean McVay has this team playing really well and Cam Akers is a rookie stud running back! I love my running backs and defenses that kick some a**. I love the makeup of the Rams but in this case the scenario is slightly askew!  I would be really shocked if Goff can keep up with Rodgers even with that awesome defense, but Akers can run the ball against the Packers. Honestly though as I type this I am not sold on either side. Green Bay's defense has been playing better. No real home field advantage other than the weather which actually is not as much of a factor as one would believe because Lambeau has a heated field unless there is a blizzard. I do not like laying a touchdown to a team that can eat clock and play stellar defense. It's to bad we can't tease this game. But begrudgingly taking the Packers -7 ok it's done.

 

Bills Ravens are just too close to call. Anyone who thinks they know the outcome of this game is smoking My Little Pony dust. I can see the Ravens winning this game or I can see the Josh Allen train playing even better than they did against Indy who got a cover with a hook or a complete cover with the later line. This tells me that the Bills underwhelmed just a bit. Josh Allen was their whole running game and he is also the better passer. But, But, But, the Ravens I still feel are clicking at the right time and Lamar Jackson is still in my opinion growing into the job and this game could very well be his coming out party as LaMar can throw the ball now LaMar. And when he does run it's usually on a set play. Where as Allen will scramble to elude trouble. The Ravens with their trio of running backs are the best running team in the NFL which can shorten the game a bit.  If it's cold and windy I think that is going to be the case so I will take the Ravens +3 

This game is going to be a duel of the running QB's 

Allen is the more prolific passer but those 3 points might come into play down the stretch. The only thing is if the Bills build a big lead early Baltimore is not built to play catch up. That said I think a close game is on tap.

 

How about those red hot Tampa Bay Buccaneers! Do you really think for a moment that The G.O.A.T is going to lose 3 games in a row to the Saints!?  Antonio Brown is a difference maker. I am not a huge fan but from a football standpoint his play has put pep in Brady's release of the football. He's not throwing as many lame ducks because he has confidence that his receivers are going to be where they need to be for an old man to be accurate with his throws. Antonio Brown might actually be the reason Tom Brady procures another Super Bowl ring!  "Not so fast whistledick!"  He wasn't all that great against the 7-9 WFT. And they haven't really beaten anyone noteworthy.

I wonder if they have solved the Alvin Kamara conundrum? The Saints defense was pretty damn good the last time I checked, and oh yea they got blown out by the Saints in their last meeting.

And Drew Brees looked sharp last week. But Brady has Gronk..."yes he does little Timmy yes he does!"

Picks be damned I am rooting for Buffalo, Rams...only because I like teams with awesome defense, I will be fine if Rodgers continues on. Saints and Chiefs. Browns would be a helluva upset but I doubt it.
