Lots of Tour Edge on Senior Tour

Recommended Posts

Looking at pics of the tournament this week. Looks like Tour Edge has become the new Adams on the Senior Tour. I've always liked their product. Hope it boosts their sales.

Cbx 119 might be the best 3/4 wood I’ve ever had.

Surely you've seen their commercial on the golf channel with all the old men dancing and praising TEE

It's the de facto 'old man' clubs, now.

I’ve gamed the EXS220 driver on and off this season rotating it with the SZ Xtreme and Epic Flash. Of the 3 the Xtreme and 220 are the longest and the Flash is a little shorter but more accurate. My only gripe is the face turns shut when I add more loft and I need launch. Great driver looks and sound wise.

Wait till Adams comes back, get their share of the Sr Tour back...

My coworker just got an TEE Driver, 3w and hybrid with Tensei blue shafts in them, dirt cheap and he is hitting them awesome. Driver came a bit long and light, I chopped down and weighted it back to a D3, now it rocks!

Hasn't Tour Edge Exotics ALWAYS been an old man's brand?  I've never seen one in the bag of anyone under the age 50.

Nope. Players have used their fairway woods on the regular tour for quite some time now. You can actually thank Tour Edge for all of the other manufacturers chasing distance with fairway woods. Tour Edge was easily the front runner for some time until the others caught up. The CB2 is one of the all time greats and still hangs with anything today.

I have a exs driver, cbx119 4 wood and 21* hybrid...TEE has been my top of the bag for 10 years strong, I'm 39...plus I have about 6 other tee clubs from 3wds to hybrids...still use them from time to time even my cb4 15* 3 wood that is still an absolute missile launcher to this day!

Tour Edge has always had several lines of equipment - players, game-improvement and inexpensive - all are very good.

Back in the day, guys on this site use to rave about the drivers, fw's and hybrids, especially the Exotic stuff.

It's only recently that they've started a TV Ad campaign, which I hope will help them to be more successful.

Lol! thats funny as you will be there one day. It's probably true as you see them mostly with the Senior players but they must work as they do very well

I agree. I don’t think they were ever old men’s clubs, I would say Tour Edge spotted an opportunity to get into the Champions Tour and market to that demographic, which is the largest single segment of golfers.

Always been known as strong designs. Anyone who doesn’t think so should try one. They don’t market as much the bigger brands but they perform every bit as well. Guys like Scott McCarron wouldn’t play them just because, and he hits the ball a long way still.

Personally, They offer great  no nonsense performance, at a great price,  Senior PGA players have tried lots of brands throughout their careers, they must see something that stands out in the Tour Edge Exotics  line up,

My XCG-7 4w is the only fairway I've had total confidence in from anywhere, EVER. Straight bombs.
