If like the business model of Warrior golf, Its really a trial and trying to return it without paying full price for some crappy driver is a massive headache.  They will not take no for an answer, you almost have to call you credit card company to dispute the charge.  Read the fine print.  Happened to a family friend years ago in regards to Warrior golf.  

 

But give them call, let us know if you get a "free club"... haha

Who cares if it’s the same company or not? It’s the same scam. So why even bother? Just ignore them and pass on the headaches they offer.

Warrior Golf went bankrupt as their foray into golf course ownership didn’t go as well as scamming people with clubs. I’d say same scam with a new name.

I called, thought what the hell since the "package deal" was pretty good. But the "deal" was for the free driver and 2 hybrids to try out.

 

I get the email confirmation and not only was it for the wrong clubs, but they were right handed.

 

He was able to confirm the order was for left and they invoiced right, but I canceled just the same.

I called on this "deal" because I had sometime to kill. Hard sell on getting matching fairway woods for $150 each. If I'm paying $150 for a fairway wood, it better be last seasons brand name and not Patriot golf. Was going to cost over $350 with shipping for my "free" driver.

I received a voicemail today on my home phone. 

 

It was from Warrior Custom Golf wanting to confirm that I received their $50 gift certificate and that I should call them back at their 1-800 number. 

 

I then checked out their website and their "Warrior Technology".  One of their headlines was "Warrior Technologies that are Game Changers". Enough Said.

I got the same promotion. Called and ordered 3hybrid, 4 hybrid and 5 hybrid and got the driver free....Could have sent them back and still keep driver...I loved the clubs. Dropped about 5 strokes of right out of the gate... I'm 58 with a back surgery , so i dont hit irons well at all now....normally shoot 85 to 90. Played this past fri and shot 78. Not a fluk.  I love the clubs!!!

Just got an email for a FREE* driver from Patriot Golf.

 

The fact that I have to call sets off the alarm bells, so does the * after free*.  Pretty sure I'm passing on this.

 

I'm bumping the thread just to see if a mass emailing went out to WRX members.  Please post if you recently got this "offer".

I think it is the new Warrior Golf. Didn't think Golfwrx would sell our emails for that type of scam, but not much surprises me anymore. I'm sure we all "agreed" to it when we signed up here.

Got the email this morning as well and called.  Driver is free if you pay $166 a pop for 3 fairway woods to "test for 45 days".  Definitely the same scam as Warrior, stay away from this!

Agreed. This just reeks of a Warrior Golf scam. No such thing as a free lunch. I'm kinda disappointed that the forum sold us out for something like this.

Our QA department missed this.  
 

We will be reevaluating  our vetting and release process. We would not condone predatory marketing tactics if employed by any advertiser. 
 

Emails were sent from our address list.  They were not given to anyone.

So either WRX sold our email addresses, or, WRX was hacked?  Correct?

 

I just saw this thread, and have already responded in the other thread.

 

Patriot Golf didn't just accidentally come across our email addresses in August of 2020...spam us with their crap...then coincidentally do the same thing a year later.

The marketing team did not do due diligence.

Think you guys are being too harsh here - did you not see the review by Mike J up above.  I mean if you cant trust an unconfirmed, 1 post, joined tat day member who can you trust??  Clubs have to be legit....

Patriot Golf is a con job. I fell into their trap and gave them my credit card for $447. I was to get 3 woods and a driver. Test them out and ship back the woods if you didnt like them for a full money back guarantee.  They said delivery 2-3 weeks. A month later, no clubs and no delivery date. I asked for a refund and a week later, still no refund.  This is a classic, take your money, invest for a profit and hold as long as they can. They didn't email anything after the initial order. This is wrong and huge blemish on the use of PATRIOT!!

I suggest you call your credit card ASAP to dispute the charges to make sure those guys don't actually get the money.

Hey I just wanted to add on here because I wish I would have listened to the online reviews. Just took my new Patriot B2 bomber driver for a spin yesterday for the first time. About 20 range balls deep and it broke. That's all it took. The weight fell into the club. I now have a driver with a hole in it and a weight rattling around inside. Useless waste of money.
