New Apex Irons?

Define traditionally?  I believe PW was 45 but don't quote me.

Pretty close to traditional lofts.

 

The thing I don't like about these irons is the radius of the toe is too high. I like a lower curve, if that makes sense.

Chatted with Callaway, the CF19 irons are being discontinued and a new line is being released in January 2021.

I assume the new 21’ apex pro will be more of a players distance iron compared to x forged cb? Trying to understand why they released x forged cb and 3 months later a similar iron?

Your gonna like what you see. They are the best looking irons (that are not blades) that Callaway has ever produced.

I always love seeing pre-release pics.  But, I can't remember a time where I was more interested in seeing some early spy pics of an iron than right now.  Of the people that have seen them early, they all seem to have glowing initial reviews on the aesthetics.

Man, I really enjoyed gaming the Apex Pro 19 irons......since moved on to the T100S.  

 

These new Apex will def be high on my radar.  Can't wait to see what they look like.   Hoping Cally fixed the shaping a bit over the Apex Pro 19s.  They were good, but not great.

Everybody keeps mentioning the Pros (I get it, it's WRX after all).  However, what about the standard Apex...how do they look?

Dang, I didn’t realize they were coming out with new Pros. I can’t wait for all the new irons to come out I’m 100% getting new ones. I love my current irons a ton but I’ve put so many rounds on them they’re reaching end of life already haha.

Question is, how will they compare to the double dots?  These double dots are some of the softest irons I have played in a long time.  However, I’m always interested...

 

This is the first time I bag a Callaway iron.  The x forged always impress, but not a fan of the pw & 9iron.  The apex pro have a little better shape to them.  Still a little too rounded toe for me.  Curious to see how these look at address.

Pro Single Dot beat the double by a large margin.

I have both and the only noticeable difference is double dot has more grooves therefore produces more spins and less distance. Feel wise they are pretty much the same.
