I recall at last year's masters he said "alright. Blahblahblah" for 4 or 5 players in a row.

I never understood the "that was an unforced error".  If we're taking that statement in the tennis terms from which it came, every error in golf is an unforced error.

Thankfully not one I heard more than that one time but it was great analysis from an expert about a player lining up a putt: "If he just gets the line right along with the correct speed, this could go in." ?

Not sure if this counts but after a player blocks or hooks a drive, going back to a slow mo view of the swing from some random angle and... “you can see right there where he just doesn’t quite get the face to close (or you can see the toe just overtaking there)..” Really? How about I show you the swing FIRST and you tell me where the ball ended up. They’d be clueless, as we all would.

Sneaky long.  Hadn't heard that in a long time until today.  My golf friends in high school, 40 years ago, used to crack up and quote that over and over on the course. That, and "he's no slouch".  Seems Venturi used to say both of them about Freddy Couples.  Was watching the European tour for 5 minutes today and they called a guy sneaky long.  The the other announcer jumped in and asked, what does that even mean?   

 

LPGA broadcasts have such poor predictions of shots and like to build in excuses.  "Oh, this is a tough little chip here.  Not a good lie and little green to work with."  Player hits it to 10 inches like it was easy.

Even better, when Dottie Pepper says the lie was bad after a player hits a bad shot, not before. Dottie Pepper doesn’t add anything of interest to the broadcast.
