It definitely is, because not only is it the same for every shot, but it is also the same in slow motion, which would be impossible without a replaced sound.

When you hear the 425 right after the 400, it sounds like a carbon crown driver. 

That part gave me pause as well, but its the same sound from the 425 as the rest of the video, just without any music so you can hear a little more detail. Either they sampled a single "perfect" sounding strike from the G425 and used that throughout the video (which would be great), or that is just a completely flown in sound from some other driver. You're right in that it does sound very much like a muted carbon driver, but that is why I am skeptical because PING's have never sounded that way.

I had the g400 last cracked it got a g410 last and man do I miss my g400 it was much more stable than the g410. Ive been in a ping driver for my last 5 (10 years) and my g410 experience has me thinking of going a new brand sometime soon

This whole line looks like a winner to me, could be the 1st time the whole woods lineup end up in my bag, for real.

 

Welcome addition to the MAX driver is the lie angle at 59,5 since there is also the flat setting why no make the normal setting a bit more upright, it was 58,5 in the G410+ and found the G410+ a bit fade biased with the weight in the neural setting.

 

Now the G425 LST is at 58,5 and I think that fit's it pretty well.

 

Awesome to see the expensive CK PRO Orange as an up-charge fitting option, too bad it's only a stiff they have, maybe this is for the Japan release only.

Great job ping.. Not only are you backed up for over two months on custom orders, cant keep stock options up in stores. As an American based company during the absolute biggest boom the U.S. has ever seen in golf hard goods sales. Hard goods setting sales records in both July and most likely August.. You release the new driver in Japan first!!!

just say you want one in both G425 threads. Someone will reach out to you. I was told that they do have permission to sell internationally. Also, keep in mind the price is about $600 USD prior to shipping on the driver. If you get a quality mate to sell to you than they may remove GST and lower the price 10% for you. But that requires them to have the booking/accounting to do so.

I hit the fairways in an indoor net...they're loud. Nice to hit, and the 3w was particularly easy to elevate, but ear-piercing. I doubt they'll be that bad outside, though.

Price was more than I was hoping for: over 36,000 yen for the 3w with stock Tour Stiff shaft, and that's probably as low as I'm going to find it.
