Congrats. But that just gets you more motivated to reach the next milestone and the next one and so on. Keep up the great work and remember, you only need to hit one good shot at a time. The one in front of you. 
 

what really helps me is not adding up my score at the turn and just concentrating on the next shot. If you concentrate you can block it out well.  I may have an idea I am doing well but don’t dwell on it. A goal is when you have buddies with music playing and you go into your pre shot routine and hit it and realize you never even heard the music while in the moment. Now you are getting there. Best of luck.

Yes I know what you mean by not hearing the music. Almost like everything fades out and you only focus on what you are trying to do. I have had this experience with many sports. I used to race cars and when I would finish a qualifying lap I sometimes could not even remember all the details of the lap, everything would kinda go blank as you fall into that zen moment.

Congratulations you never know when the next milestone your chasing will happen and there's know real explanation why but when you break one it's amazing what the next level your game goes to. Every ceiling breaking 90 then 80 then single digit handicap of which I achieved when I was 42 after getting serious at 27. But the last one shooting par I just couldn't do. I retired in March and in April i finally shot 72 and followed it up in August with another 72  I turned 64 in September it's a great game

Congrats bro!   Keep up the good work.  My best round ever was at the Dunes course over at PGA West.  Granted it's a pretty easy course I shot -2.  Made 5 birdies and 3 bogeys and the rest pars.  I was shooting 3 over to even par the for an entire month before that.  Haven never shot under par since then.
