Why can I not get pictures to show up?

They only show up as links.  Seached BST help forum.  I saw one reply that said something about clicking a mountain "at the bottom of the page".  I see nothing like that.

I have no idea.  I got a moderation warning then I went back to post and it all of a sudden uploaded them normally.  I am using a PC.  All it does is post the link once the images are uploaded.  It's incredibly frustrating.  I'm not computer illiterate.  

 

The only thing I can think of is that they are taking a long time to upload?  It's annoying to see my post deleted when it's clearly a website issue.

There is no "mountain" anymore. That was a previous board.

 

If it shows as a link, try clicking on your "Return" (Go to the next line) key. That often resolves the link to a picture.

 

A picture from your device - use the "Choose Files" link. Find your pic in the pop up and double click on it.

 

A picture from another website (unlikely for BST of course). Click on "Insert other media" and insert the URL (website address of the pic).

 

To insert the picture IN a specific spot within your post, place your cursor to the spot to place the pic and then hit the "+" sign within the pic.

Make sure you have reduced the file size of your photos. Those that are too large won’t upload.

I believe, but am not sure, WRX resizes pics when necessary.

 

If not, it'll tell you the pic is too big.

Okay so here is the issue.  I took the pictures from my iphone then transferred them to computer.  The pictures were .HEIC files.  Once I converted them to JPEG using a free online software they loaded flawlessly.  I'm not sure if it would be an issue to have the script read this type of image, but I am sure it would solve a lot of the issues that people have with posting images.

You should not have to transfer the pictures. Every image I have currently uploaded is from a iPhone or IPad. 
 

And yes, they are auto resized if within the total post limit.
