Still waiting on putter

Just letting out a bit of frustration with my fellow golfing community. Let me start by saying that I am not new to the site but, have started to become a bit more active since I have had some time off. 

 

I know most will critique me and say its my fault and what do you expect... Buuuuutttt, I figured if anyone would understand where I am coming from, this community would.

 

I am in the military and on my recent deployment I brought my putter and a mat to practice with (was swamped and didn't use once). I was fortunate enough to come home from deployment a couple months early due to my 3rd child being born (first boy), unfortunately, due to the austere environment I was in, it wasn't conducive to returning with putter as a carry-on. Not having a putter for the rest of the season was out of the cards so I booked an appointment at club champion for a putter fitting, had a great experience, and purchased a putter. As I swiped CC, the fitter threw in the dagger, that lead times are about 5-8 weeks.... I just wish he was a bit more forth coming with that info when I went in to fitting.

 

I have played a couple of rounds now with borrowed putters from golf courses, and now a friend has loaned me one. I certainly haven't played too bad shooting 83/85/85, and I am super happy with that considering I missed the majority of the season. Called corporate club champion and they said my putter was going to the build shop at the end of next week, so hopefully I will have it in about 10 days or so. If anything, I guess they were pretty accurate with their lead times. Thanks COVID.

Just want to say I feel the pain, my entire bag (among everything else) was sadly left back in our house at an austere post.  I couldn't swing it as being one of my 2 checked bags when we got evac'd out, and I regret it and miss it dearly and look forward to reuniting.

Have a friend who ordered a TM driver in early July from them.......still waiting
