Potentiality selling J15 CB's support group

Looking to balance my Covid golf buying habits with golf club cash inflow to make the wife happy.  I impulse bought a set of J15 CB's that turned out to be in unbelievable shape, and continued to feed the beast with Epon and Yamada putters.  The kicker was that I was fit and purchased a custom set of Epon irons in the Spring that are not getting kicked out of the bag anytime soon.  Talk me off of the ledge from selling these beautiful irons.

I sold my two sets of J15 CB's recently - I said I would always keep at least one, but in the end they are only irons.  They are great but there's nothing magical about them.  I bought a set of Miura CB-801's and loved them, so I sold the J15 CB's, along with my previous set of Miura LH CB's, a few custom putters, and other stuff, and picked up another set of the Miuras.  The Bridgestones are great irons, but the Miuras with the Y-grind are just as good.  I've consolidated all of my equipment down to two sets of clubs and my wife is (relatively) happy.

 

If you've found something you really like, don't feel bad about selling something else to get it.  Just be sure you really like the Epons first.  ?

I replaced mine with a set of Miura tc-201 irons, so I kind of forgot about them as soon as I get the Miuras ?

I had the J15CB the wrong shaft and they were really killing my back. I think I would have kept them if they had the correct shaft in them. Sometimes I look at pictures of them and regret selling them...I guess I could have always spent the time and money to rebuild them...sigh..

Yeah I’m going to regret this decision in the morning. I better roll some putts.

agree fully with dwboston... make sure you really like the Epons, than get rid of the J15s.
