I think this is normally what Titleist does and that’s fine but it seems like with the multitude of special circumstances of 2020 that if they’d have gotten these out even a month sooner they’d have locked in a lot of business from people who don’t want to wait until winter or spring and still had a fair amount of season left.

By the time these come out the northern half of the US is basically done with golf until spring and by then everyone else will have their new stuff out.

If they’re truly that good it may not matter but they’ll lose off the rack sales to other companies next spring because they’ll have the newer fresher marketing and online testing.

It's a big complaint from club builders and golf stores they can only get limited stock of equipment since this covid situation developed so it was always

going to be hard for Titleist to launch a new product with everything that has happened .

So how does everyone think these will fare against the TS3?

I still use a 909D2 with a Diamana Blue 65 R that I've learned to hit pretty well even though the shaft is too flexible for my swing speed (average driving distance may be around 270y)

Ended up trying the TS3 in a Demo Day last year but as there is a scarcity of good fitting sessions in my country the shaft suggestion (in a non optimal condition and without a launch monitor) was a Tensei Blue 60 Stiff.

So now I'm thinking about buying the TS3 with the Tensei Blue 60 S with the online clearance prices vs. waiting for a good fitting session on the TSi and risk ending up in the same situation I am now.

I don’t know, I like the idea of practicing indoors all winter with a new driver rather than waiting for spring launches.

If this has been asked already I'm sorry. Will Titleist release TSi hybrids with the woods or will they come with new irons next year?

Yeah I don’t get his argument. Seems like there’s more benefit from getting something out before Christmas. I doubt it hurts competitiveness in March just because it’s been out for 5 months. Probably helps if anything

This is just speculation, but it is a pretty common pattern with several companies to have a lower spin, bomber type of driver that then gets iterated on to increase stability (MOI). Taylormade has been doing it since the SLDR, Callaway with each successive "Sub Zero" model, Cobra since the F6, and I suspect the TSi3 will follow that same pattern since the TS3 was a little unstable for some people. The design suggests they really tried to keep the CG down while moving it back, and IMO on paper it could definitely be a winner.

Michael Newton (the YouTuber) teased his review for mid-October, he's had them for a few days at least.

Not sure about the looks, I usually flip-flop on the soles of drivers, between funky high-tech and plain, but these just look unfinished, they way they hang in stores, the Titleist logo will be obscured and they may have little rack-appeal. The Titleist fans will of course know all about them, but the average punter ... they may walk past to the next display. I think I would have put the logo in the centre or flipped the Titleist and the TS badge.

Wow lucky you.  I can't find any Titleist Thursdays open in NJ.  It's been like that for about a year now.

Unless, you mean there's an invite or something through TT memberships?  I didn't get any of that neither.

Face angle was on previous versions of the SureFit chart, starting when it was released with the 910 series, but removed later on. Below is the 915 series version.

I am currently playing the Sim Max with AD-IZ shaft. I went with the TSi3 with Ad-IZ shaft. I have played Taylormade woods since the R7 425 TP days (except for a 6 month Titleist driver during 915 days I think). This driver is the real deal. Shape, sound AND ball speed. I am going to dive in deeper once I get it and try some different shafts, but the rep had my IZ shaft in his demo so it was an easy comparison for me. With that, I picked up 8-10 yards due mostly to the reduced spin. Ball speed was up about 1-2 mph but spin decreased from 2600 to 2300 and fit the optimization window better.

Sorry bud, that is far too optimistic.  Ventus Black wont be a stock offering in the next few years for any OEM.

It has been covered already, the Tensei Raw will be "it" shaft that will be available at no-charge (but not the tx version).
