Tour Titleist TSi 2 & TSi 3 driver and 3 woods - 2020 Safeway Open

The shape of the tsi3 looks great!  One of the better looking modern drivers I have seen in a while.  I agree with above poster, not a fan of modern drivers.  This new version looks like it’s going back to the more traditional shape which is a great thing.  Can’t wait to see these in hand.

Oh boy. Those look really good. I prefer the alignment aid over the triangle they used in the past.

The TSI alignment is no big deal. I'll take a peek at the TS3 next season. Very nice!

Sole looks like the Callaway OptiForce driver from a few years back.

I like the look but prefer the look of the my TS3. It has been in the bag for almost 2 years now and I don't see it being replaced by the TSi unless performance is significantly better. I used to change drivers every couple of months and the TS3 has been the longest a driver has lasted in my bag in 20 years. I'm sure Titleist will do great with these.

Love the shape of the TSi3 driver but the fairways don't even look like Titleist fairways with the scorelines. I'll reserve final judgment until I see one in person but may end up grabbing a TS3 on discount.

Obviously Titleist has really changed their direction and have really stepped up their game with the technology lately.  Redesigned thier entire brand.....that being said, i HATE the glossy crown.....I have played titleist my entire life and have always wanted Titleist to have a matte finish because the glare off these things is ridiculous. 

 

The shape is great and i am sure there is some "tech" in there but they really have to move away from this glossy finish.

Unless that face is hotter than the original lineup of TS drivers ..... no thanks.  There will be no discernable difference between the two to the average hacker.

I can't wait but need to test it first obviously.....going to take a lot to replace my TS3. Best driver I have ever hit. Really happy they are keeping. the sure-fit tip. Lots of shafts to use.

These look great but have to agree im not sure about the Tsi logo on the top for alignment. Much prefer the arrow point or even Titleist in a straight line would be better

These look like they were designed by Tour Edge, not by Titleist. Hard pass for me.

To each their own. But it’s funny how people get worked up over looks. And say they wouldn’t game it. Last time I checked. Can’t see the face at address. Can’t see the bottom of the driver when it’s resting on the ground. And it’s covered most of the time. But, to each their own.

Looks- 9.5 out of 10 in my book-face is a bit busy is my only knock.  you know it will perform too, its Titleist. Would like to know how it sounds.

About 15 years or so, Scott Son designed and released a club for his company Versus Golf (this was after his time at Nakashima and Alpha) that had "Laser Surfacing Technology" on the face. The tech "story" was the following from Scott himself....

 

*LST Benefits
1.  25% less side spin at impact.

2.  practically eliminates an 'ballooning' even with a soft tip shaft.

3.  more roll distance after hitting the fairway.

4.  ball does not 'slide' up the face of the driver.

5.  the laser surface creates a softer feel at impact with the ball.

*independent test conducted by prestigious Golf Lab (San Diego, CA)

 

I wonder if Titleist will build on this at all. Looks like a very interesting release. Looking forward to it!

I am still playing the 917D2/F not because the TS series are bad clubs but because of feel and performance.  The TS works great for some but did meet my expectations.  A lot saw a great improvement in their game.  Am looking forward to seeing and trying this new TSI driver and fairway.  If I can pick up ten yards with the right shaft combination and still get the feel that I have with my 917, then our comes the golf account debit card.  Will see what my fitter and I can put together.  I see nothing wrong with the new look.  Feel and performance are what's important in a club.  This set up works great for me until I find something that can improve on my performance in the Titleist line.  Team Titleist loyalist and FootJoy Ambassador.

EXACTLY.  Reminds me of R11s when TaylorMade put that on the crown.  Just awful.  Maybe Titleist can still change it but doubtful...would've been cool to have a mini version of the silver "arrow" on the sole.

I love it all except the one part I can see at address - the crown alignment aid...why Big T, why?....

Liking the look so far but I'll have to wait to see them in person.  That alignment aid is a bit of a turn off but if it can beat the TS2 in my bag, it'll be a huge winner.
