Sorry if this has already been answered, but wading through 30 pages of posts in this thread is more time than I can devote.

To those who have already been fit and/or placed an order through your local club pro shop or off-course golf shop: Have they told you when to expect delivery? And would it be around the same time (slightly before or slightly after) availability in golf stores?

My approximate ship date shows 11/9.

Have you compared numbers from 915 to 917 and ts3? Ts3 blew my 915 numbers out of the water

I never really hit the 917, didn't like the look and wasn't looking for a change at the time.  I tested the TS3 last year for a few weeks and it definitely was a bit longer than my 915 but the dispersion wasn't as tight.  I've been considering the TS4 as well simply for the smaller head size, performance wise I doubt it would be any longer than the TS3 but the comfort of looking at a smaller head interests me.  The TSi3 head shape actually makes 460CC look more compact.  I'll test it out when I can on the course in a few weeks, from the data I've seen in this thread it seems like the TS3 and TSi3 produced almost identical numbers ?

Taylormade Stealth + 10.5 (Mitsubishi Kai'li White 60S)

I'm curious why you're swearing off TM woods? I say that because I've basically done the same thing. They're great clubs but the two I've owned, I couldn't hit for toffee. I'd even been fit for the second one and I ended up hating it! Lol.

By contrast I've used a fair few Titleist drivers and they've all been solid, despite them being "self-fit". Maybe it's a mental thing.

TM woods and I just never gel together.  I keep trying and keep failing most of the time to titleist.  Personal TM driver fails:

Ti bubble 2 Success!

R9 superdeep fail to (cobra s9-1 pro D)

R11 actually a success but eventually fell to Titleist 910

R11s fail

R1 fail

R15 short lived

M1 short lived but very long

M2 never stuck

M3 M4 (M2 was better so these never had a chance.)

M5 great feel! And look but short.

M6 had for a day.

SIM fleece job had for a week, wild.

Probably more that I missed.

I have had success with and played titleist fairways and drivers with 910, 913, 915, 917 fairway only, never bagged TS.  Been on ping g400 LST, g410 LST as of late.

I saw the Tsi3 driver head yesterday.  It's a must try gorgeous looking head!

If all the same, I am asking myself why not get the g410 lst while it’s on sale or wait for Mavrik or sim to go on sale. The curious part of me wants to just buy the new titleist driver but I am curious now if it’s worth it m

No these drivers are not all the same.  I guarantee you.  I have the LST now and had the SIM.  Way different.  You look at that dispersion and you can see the TSI has the potential to go the furthest.  The ping is the straightest.  Those shots are narrowed to the best and most similar strikes.  So we dont know how many reps it took them on each club to get the keepers.

That is a good point. I wonder how many bad shots there were. Maybe it’d be better to do on course to see which ones end up in fairway vs rough vs ob

What the test shows you is that from a distance perspective, none of those drivers have obvious design deficiencies. Depending on your delivery, you may be able to custom fit one of them to maximize your distance.

It also doesn't tell us a ton about forgiveness, but they have reviews for each driver that talk more about forgiveness. Again, contingent on your swing.

Think of it as a comparison of good shots with each driver, as a rough indicator of potential.

Not so sure , has to be a reason so many tour guys jumped on the wagon early and dumped the tried and true.

No clue all I know is they are within 3 yards of each other and every shot they showed was in the fairway. No one knows which behind the scenes had the most bad shots etc

Lots of guys switch to new stuff when it comes out. Need to see if it sticks long term. Not knocking Titleist majority of my bag is Titleist. IM waiting for the TSI4

I've had the TS3 since it came out and I love it. Played everything this year , but always come back to Titleist. In the past , they've been fairway finders for me , but with the edition of the TS3 , I saw measurable distance gains along with better dispersion over its predecessors. Although I saw a little better distance numbers with the SIM and Mavrik Triple D ,  they just weren't as accurate "for me" in on course action.

I was sold on looks and the comparison in sound alone in the TSi3. IF it performs the same or better in my hands, it's still a win/win for this guy.

Just had full access to their fitting cart today with the fairway woods.   I love my driver and no desire to look elsewhere.  Moving on, I think both fairway woods are a step backwards.  They both sit up closed in standard position.  I flattened both lie angles and they still looked close.  Also, I never felt like they never felt solid.  I pulled out my TS2 15 degree and way better feel, look, and results.  Save your $$ and keep current model.
