Had a TPI fitting... Tsi3 with GD-XC 6x @45” in route.  Might be the best driver I’ve ever hit.  And that’s against a 100% optimized SIM

Ordered the exact same set up a few days ago-  TSi3 9* XC 6X 45” D3-D4 SW.  I’m hoping they put the +4 weight in it to reach the requested SW.  I’d like the headweight to be at least 198g.

can you guys share thoughts on the XC?  I am intrigued by that profile.

Pretty similar to the tensei av/pro white line.  Feels a little softer in the handle.  It loads hard up high just below the handle, with a distinct kick. I think overall a touch softer/easier to work than the White.  I really liked that the feel didn’t change whether I went after it or put an easy swing on.  Of course, being a GD shaft, it feels fantastic overall. Interesting for me because I didn’t think I would like it- almost the exact opposite profile of my irons, which are stiff in the handle and mid, but soft in the tip.

Any lefties get their driver yet?  I preordered the tsi2 on 10/30 and still waiting. Wondering if it’s a lefty thing.

Yes.  Did my fitting on 10/31 and received the driver 15 days later.

I actually demoed with the 75 x white and really liked it.   I just know the first time I hit a hook on the course I’ll say “wouldn’t have happened with TX.”

Not that anyone cares, but I have now been playing the TSi3 driver and 3 wood with the Tour AD IZ shaft in both for about a month now. I have not been this impressed with a wood set up in a long while. They feel great, go long and hit fairways. These are just $$

Just a small teaser. Driver arrived today, with the wrench...for people who bother, unfortunately with the wrong loft....It's a 9 degree head and I ordered 10 degree. Long sigh....

Just a delivery driver not paying attention and put my package on the wrong porch

OK, since @Nixhex524 seems disinclined to ask for clarification, since I'm confused as well, I'll ask. :classic_tongue:

I don't believe nix was asking about how your package got delivered to the wrong address but why the Vokeys, apparently ordered 2 YEARS ago, were just arriving now. :classic_blink:

Played today with my new TSI 2 with black smoke ADX 60 gram stiff , I want to be clear I'm a traditionalist as far

as the look of golf clubs go I've always played drivers that have looked like the TSI3 , I got fitted for this driver and tried both the 2 & the 3

and I hit the 2 better so I went with it and to be honest I really love the sound off of this driver definitely not as muted as the 3 but it sounds great

I ended up shooting 2 over par with lift clean and place in effect / winter rules but we also had an awful amount of rain over night here in NY

I hit a hell of a lot of fairways with this driver and it's frigging no slouch in the length department ,anyhow I have it in ten degrees of loft on the B1 setting

all it wants to do is go straight , I'm fairly happy with my choice , its just a super easy driver to hit . also there was no wrench

but its not a big deal I must have at least three of them already .

if anyone is on the fence between the 2 & the 3 because of how they sound I demoed them at PGA superstore before I got fitted

and indoors there is a difference with the three sounding really good and the 2 sounding a little tinny , when I went

for my fitting outdoors on trackman the 2 didn't sound like that at all outside so trust me it doesn't sound tinny outdoors .

The way I read it, he ordered the wedges, they got delivered to the wrong address, and that experience occured 2 years ago.  Although if it's 2 years for wedges to be delivered, the guy has the patience of the Dalai Lama.  Maybe on his deathbed he'll receive "total consciousness..."

pictures on here never do clubs justice

imop - this is tsi3 15*.   On hardwood , sitting square  the arc channel it looks neutral / slightly closed , or it can fall very open of it sits on the back bottom. Could go either way

Note , if the club head rests on a thin rug or fairway grass, it to me looks neutral not closed

Moved away from the SIM woods I see!?

Driver I really like 👍 the 3w , impulse buy , still have the sim 3w in closet ready to go.

my reasoning for a switch from another thread

tbr - all the tour stuff is digitally lofted , check out trottie insta (chris trotter taylormade and tour truck Tuesdays ) , they walk all the way through a tour build , though most of their heads are already on the truck digitally measured from TMAG , god knows how many they went through to get those

awhile back will just say an industry insider told me Titleist was usually within a 1/2 degree on loft

Look at retail ; as a non qualitative measure - tsi3 / 2 titleist offers 4 lofts - 8, 9,10, 11

- TMAG only 3 - 8,9,10.5. ,

additionally  tour TMAG head variances they are at times more than +/- 1* , degree when looking at what’s available on the bay

now I wish I had tour truck access (measured heads etc) , I don’t , while 1* of loft isn’t a killer , go through the fitting for a level accuracy , I think titleist might be more accurate for the everyday golfer

hey I love TMAG and my sim is a great piece of driving equipment.  But if I can hone that club better without resorting tour Issue equipment from the bay.  I’m all about a better mouse trap or some six sigma club manufacturing

What length are you at with 7g of tape on there?  I assume not 45.75 like your old one?  Still tipped 1" on the Ventus?

Head was 194 , it’s 201g  , playing length is 45” to 45.5”

I took the shaft out of the TMAG tip , plays a little shorter

going to get it hot melted

328g over all , swing weight I’ll tend to gravitate to the D4 Mark , but will adjust with lead tape till what feels good

I received my TSi2 with AV BLUE 65. As reported by others, no wrench. I emailed the shop I ordered it from and they told me “Titleist is no longer including wrenches. They assume you already have one from the  old model.” I was like, so Titleist just assumes ppl had or have the old model??? Pretty weak IMO. The kid at the local golf shop fed me the exact same line. Made me think it’s what they’ve been told to say by Titleist when ppl ask.
