Ah ha, gotcha. Maybe he could do an updated edition.

The thing about dodgy sales guys is they don’t need other sales guys. He’s already done that. For a limited time you can get the first edition for 20% off at $39.95. A digital product that would cost next to nothing for each extra unit sold. All the legitimate Hogan releases that had actual links back to Hogan were less than that.

Hmm, how limited? Maybe I should grab a copy while it's still on sale.

I'd be happy to send you a copy, my friend had a Hogans stage about a year ago and bought it 😶 After several discussions of me telling him it's not worth anything he send me a copy to "prove me wrong".

Careful, Hogan’s golf identity is worth a lot of money to him, he’ll sue ya.

I bumped into this thread by mistake. Let me tell you it’s a bit crazy but I saw the YouTube vid and the guy impersonating Hogan plays like a film golfer. His follow through is really subpar. There’s a lot of bad golfers trying to make a living out of teaching. I know one very well. I agree, they take money out of inexperienced beginners.

“Best golf tips you’re ever going to find.”

As a connoisseur of golf instruction, the minute I see 80 tips - I am out! 😀

80 tips is less useful than 0 tips. Not that this is all that unique to this particular instructor, but  instruction from a far where dozens of tips are offered to you and you decide what you think works is pretty comical.

I love how in Golf Magazines you have a bunch of tips that are in no way compatible.

Now back to MSE.

- Still no response or defense from any of his so called "students". Wonder why?

- Still no all shots 18 hole playing vlog with a credible witness.

Figures as much 🙄

That's because he sucks! So does that Be Better Golf dude.

Yep. I was dumb enough to buy his latest Hogan Code 2 after seeing him say he had spent a day talking Hogan with Gary Player. I thought there may be something interesting from that regardless of Christo’s ability or lack thereof but all he said was that Hogan kept the left arm close to the chest going back. Big deal. Nothing new there. Then he talks generally about a high right arm in a Martin Ayers style move yet Hogan supposedly told Player (this was in an old Golf Digest) that he tried to keep his right arm low going back. Player told Hogan I am trying to keep my right arm close like you, Hogan said I don’t try to keep it close, I try to keep it LOW.

I don’t know how Christo sleeps at night making money off someone else’s reputation when Hogan himself went to great trouble to take people to court for using his name and image without permission. It was 90 minutes and there was not one thing I would take from it. It was like a dummies guide to Modern Fundamentals.

I'm going to make 'The Nicklaus Code' because I read Golf My Way about 50 times. As far as Christo's swing is concerned, he lacks the flexibility on his left side and his swing fizzles out and collapses when Hogan was accelerating like mad into the follow through while pressuring the shaft forward. Anyone can get Ben Hogan's backswing 'looking' correct, but it's impact and beyond that matters most.

Yes, this is why Hogan had the huge recoil in his follow through. You can't fake that, and if your pivot stalls it ain't gonna happen.
