P7MC's have not arrived yet

Hey guys, I got fitted with a top 25 taylormade fitter on August 18 for a set of the new taylormade irons. I decided on the sim udi 2 iron, MC 4-6 iron, and then MB 7-PW. The problem is that he said that all the clubs would be in on September 1 or 2, but only the udi and MB have come in already. He is not responding to my texts or telling me any date as to when my MC's will arrive. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on?

Probably not something the equipment forum can help you with unfortunately... I'd call Taylormade and let them know their account is being unresponsive and ask if they are experiencing delays with builds on the MC heads. Lots of backordered irons from what I hear.

My guess is that he has said something like "I'll let you know when I know something" and you're still frequently contacting him, and he doesn't know anything yet.  Not to be a ****, but having been in customer facing roles for 11 years, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case.

If there has actually been no contact, then I'd take it up with Taylormade, they probably won't be too thrilled about an account of theirs not responding to customers

Same here. Personally I prefer to tell clients that I don't have an update and establish a timeline for checking in, even to tell them there still isn't new info. Sounds like the rep is of the philosophy to wait until he hears something to respond at all.

Supply chain issues caused by the COVID thrash, I suspect. The OEM I do some work for is having the the same problems.

Call Taylormade ASAP for the story.  It will be under your name or the accounts name.  And don’t be shocked when you wait another couple months to get The order.

I have sent him 3 texts since august 2, when he said they would be in at the latest, haven't heard back anything at all. He actually has his read receipts on on his iPhone, and I can see that he has read the texts but hasn't responded once. I called taylormade and they said there was nothing under my name, his name, the fitters address, or my home address, so im sorta stuck on as what to do next.

you mean september 2nd? What does TM show when you give them serial numbers for the clubs that have arrived? They should be able to back into the account info that way.

Yes sorry, September 2nd. I did not even think about doing that. Ill give them a call tomorrow and see what they say about that. Thanks for the tip

Good luck. I'll be curious to hear what they say. It's kind of on them to ensure that a top TM fitter is on the ball. That said, maybe being the expert at fitting doesn't translate to being an expert on proactive communication and customer service!
