For sure they don't want no names...but there are probably a fair number of "golf fans" - which is the audience for a "no Tiger" golf event, even a major - who don't like those 2 and have no interest in seeing them win.  DJ's gotta be kicking himself...if he even just pars in at the end of his round to stay at +1, he's right in it.

Tiger just hit the most beautiful putt, but it was from 67 feet.  If he wants to putt better, he needs to give himself some putts he might reasonably make.

I know most on this forum don't like Pat but he's got game ; 8 Tour wins and a major .....putts well, can shape it both ways and very tidy short game......add in a drop or two of saltiness/ moxy......

He needed to make that 8 foot birdie putt early on. Stroke looks okay, they just aren't dropping like yesterday.

You are right though.. Very solid game. Plus got on tour with a Monday qualifier. That is the hardest way possible.

yep ... and i'm not sure why people mock reed's physique ... but it's america, i guess ... no reason to not take a shot at another person's physical appearance ... he's not trim, but he's more stocky than anything ...

NBC probably has the cold sweats with the possibility of a Jason Kokrak/Rafa Cabrera Bello final grouping on Sunday if things fall just so tomorrow. ?

 

NBC has stopped talking about Tiger and the cutline, and is close to pulling the plug on even showing him, so I guess we can conclude they figure he's done. On pace for a smooth 80.
