Kind of, on the other hand they are so fast that the players have to put so defensively there's a lot of break affecting them. The ball just picks up that little curl at the end.

That and it seems most of the short putts I have seen have a fair bit of break. Having to start the ball outside the hole on a three footer with 13 stimp greens is not exactly a comfortable feeling.

Louis is likely going to be in the final group tomorrow when all is said and done today.

Wolff did amazing things from the rough today, just like Reed did yesterday.  It caught up to Reed today.  Would love to see Louis win another major.

Yeah hitting into the rough makes it a pure luck game, even if you're good from it and have less club in, you're playing with fire and could end up with some awful lies. If he misses that many tomorrow and you add in the nerves of sitting on a 54-hole lead in the US Open, I can see him shooting 75 or 76 tomorrow. Question who takes it from him in that case? He has a nice cushion.

Don't get me wrong, Wolff seems like a nice, personable kid and a win from him would be big.  If he gets fewer good breaks tomorrow and goes backwards a little, I think there's a bunch of guys who could gut out an even par or -1/-2 round to sneak in - Louis, Rory, and Schauffele would be my picks.  I think anyone +2 or better has a shot.

I agree with you, Kilo. My first thought when she was laying it all out, was one of sadness, for him. All that he has going for him, all the good things he likely has ahead of him, heck....I'd be smiling 24/7. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Money doesn't change people.  It makes them more of who they already are.  Makes you wonder...

I just meant his golf game.  I knew nothing about him as a person.  That's pretty sad though; someone who's blessed to play a game for a living and make a ton of money, going around treating people like crap.  It also cracks me up, because athletes and actors are literally modern day court jesters whose value lies in entertaining the masses.  How they've come to believe they're above everyone else is beyond me.

He said he grew up idolizing Tiger, so perhaps he is emulating that part of Woods' past behavior too.

Youll have the 2 longest hitters, both in their twenties, in final group tomorrow. This in the tournament where "play safe and keep it in the fairway" has been the norm. Anyone who thinks power and youth aren't taking over aren't getting it.

Perfect greens?  DeChambeau says "These greens suck!"

I haven't found out exactly what he meant by that. Was he commenting on the design or condition?

That's the first thing I asked her too. Apparently that's not the problem, or at least she didn't mention that. No, apparently he treats everyone outside his circle, at least in the restaurant, like they are all WELL beneath him. I think the word she used was that he was consistently "loathsome" towards her staff. He comes in there at least once or twice a month, so you can't really chalk it up to a bad day on his part. She did mention that when he's in there with his girlfriend/wife?, that he seems a little more "human"...was the phrase she used.

Frankly I was surprised, as, at least on TV, he comes off as a regular guy who you wouldn't mind having a brew with. Oh well. In the end, it's his loss.

As I've posted before, he's probably been responsible for more people hating the PGA Tour than anyone. I've had people tell me they will never, ever look at a golf tournament again after having the misfortune of being around him. Many people don't know who he is, but he sure wants them to. He's rude to everyone he comes in contact with in Scottsdale. I think some big 'ole cowboy is going to knock his block off one day.

He lacks the virility to win. This tournament will be won by a hulking, vascular man.
