I think it's a two horse race already. Wolff and dechambeau are playing too well and have too much skill to let any of these others slip into serious contention.

Wolff just hit one that came down through the trees and didn’t hit anything and it appears he’s got a clear look at the green even if the lie is uncertain. That ball could have gone anywhere coming down like it did.

Wolff is grinding, dechambeau is not cruising but looks more comfortable. The course has obliterated everyone else. English had a lost ball in the rough on 1 but bounced back with a birdie hole out from the sand on 2.

#6 will be pivotal with both guys have plenty of fire power to get on. But a poor shot could turn that 3 into a 5 and totally change the character of their round. Like finau did hitting into creek over back left. Both should just make a comfortable swing knowing they have plenty of power to get at least close and leave them self a simply up and down. Maybe even 3 wood is the right club.
