What browser are you using ? Any chance it's Chrome ? If your name and PW are "autofilled" when you try to sign in you can find your password in your browser's settings (at least you can in Chrome IF you allow Chrome to save passwords)

Notifications started rolling in over the last few days, so either something worked or a setting change did the trick. I've got my password saved on one computer, using Firefox, but for some reason on my phone I've been logged out and the password reset email never came through. So over the weekend I'm in the dark on WRX. I'll figure it out eventually, just a bit of a nuisance.

Well the stars are back in the search streams and we are back to only showing a single thread with 1 - N unread posts rather than showing the thread 1 - N times in the search stream.  Glad those items are fixed.  Site is back to its former easy to navigate form.  Thanks and well done!

I see the stars are back. That wasn't a "must have" but it is useful.

 

But are you sure the duplication of topics is really fixed ? I don't seen anything at the moment that confirms it. But yeah, that was #1 on the list.

I'm seeing some anomalies right now but there is a message that the search indexes are still processing and results may not be complete so it may take a little while.

 

Unread Content, this time, seems to have worked because your post triggered it and my previous post is NOT in the list so that would seem to indicate it's working properly. Another "Content I" didn't work so it's probably the indexing not finished yet.

 

But it looks like this has been solved - thank goodness.

That was post upgrade and pre server move. 
 

I would investigate local browsers and devices. 
 

What is your device and browser  
 

Speed and loading is not being reported as an issue.

That is definitely something specific to your device and connection. If it still occurring on different connections then its the device.

OK, that's 24.3 download (what you care about) and 3.27 upload.

 

Nowadays I think that's just "decent" for anything other than a mobile. For a mobile, I *think* that would be pretty fast but I seldom use my mobile's data plan, so not sure.

 

And of course if the thread contains more than a picture or 2 in it it'll take a bit longer.

 

If you have a cable modem and wireless connection I would think you should be getting at least 50 download - but you are sharing the connection so there are times when it'd be faster and times when it'd be slower.

 

I am often over 100 with my cable modem even with a wireless connection. It'd be faster with a direct wired ethernet connection but I'm not sure if the iPad has an ethernet connection.

Something is wrong with all of the buttons on mobile. Everything looks like a box with an "x" in it.

On Safari the load more content button cycles me back to the top of the page without loading more content or stating there is no more unread content.

It's the same when viewing on a PC, all the buttons are boxes - like this ☐

On mobile on iPhone, I’m actually now getting nothing In “content I posted in”.  Last night up until 10:30 pm cst it was working.   Not sure if you are in the middle of tweaking something.

Correct in that the site is somewhat broken this morning.  No more starred topics for ones you posted in.  No content beyond 30 minutes or so from the filters.  It is a mess.  Hopefully an update is occurring and everything returns to normal soon.

Interesting.  When I added a fresh post to this thread it suddenly got starred.  Seems like the database is being re-generated again.

Look at this thread now that you have posted.  You should see a star rather than a ball.

Yes, but now it's faded of course. I'll check it again after this post.

 

But other "Content I posted In" that I haven't looked at since is bolded with a button, no star. And everything in "Content I posted In" should have a star, no ?

 

So it appears as though "going forward" the stars are back but not something "past" ? Really doesn't make sense.

 

edited to add - My bad. Since *I* am the last poster it doesn't refresh as "Unread". Once someone else posts here it should. I'll check it later.
