Pretty Exciting to read. I love my SZ extreme. More than likely wont move away from it, but with possible new irons on the horizon? color me highly intrigued.

Yep, WRX illuminati have been getting very corporate lately. All leaks are erased almost immediately along with threads that turn negative against a manufacturer. Members are allowed to post rumors but hard evidence is strictly a GolfWRX media monopoly.

Lol. You have been around the block several times. You know they gotta protect themselves from embargo dates. If they let people go buck wild posting all this stuff then what OEM will send them stuff for testing or anything else? If you were the owner of an OEM and had people posting your un-released clubs before you wanted that info out there how would you feel?

Yep, we used to see all kinds of prototypes and pictures of things in the works. You remember how many versions of the Adams Speedline drivers were out there? Those were the good ole days. A smart marketing department from a manufacturer would kill for the viral release that they pay nothing for. Now if you don't see the post in the first 5 minutes it's deleted immediately.

If I was a manufacturer like Cobra I would purposely leak those pics and have the poster add a screen shot with some crazy launch, spin and ballspeed numbers to go with it. Let everyone salivate over a driver that might be producing crazy ballspeeds. Let the rumor mill create the hype for free. People would be talking about how the hell they got those numbers instead of like now where the only thing in everyone's head is the Microsoft paint joke recreation.

If Bryson DeChambeau hits 200 mph with it at Augusta nobody will be talking about the colors on the bottom of the club.

I think look matters. I have the SZ Pars and Stripes and I picked it up because I could finally see the milling strip on the top of the club which frames the ball very nicely at setup like the TM driver line.  The gloss and matte options did nothing to accomplish this.  Cobra needsto keep being creative but at the same time move away from the flaming colour schemes

Remember that Cobra usually has one color that is bright and attention grabbing, and another that is more subtle. Cobra knows their buying base and knows how to keep things appealing. I think this driver could be a LTD 2.0 in the making. That was a phenomenal stick!

When all the oems literally make the same product, yea colors can be a factor.

Unfortunately, I think it's the poster of that video that is suffering from this terrible affliction.

 

Both IMBD, Wikipedia and indeed the Pulp Fiction script itself refer to the character as "Brett".

I think it will end up being a speed zone with improved forward weighting to get the spin down while still maintaining as much forgivenesses as they can (LTD 2.0) but time will tell as always. I am definitely going to give it a fair shot for a spot in my bag.
