From what I know, this new Apex line is heavily focused on adjustability and customization so I would assume yes but honestly I don’t know for sure

I’d be interested in seeing data on the effects of a screw in the back vs a solid club head. What types of measurements are taken?

These look good but for some reason they don't do it for me. I honestly don't know why. They are clean, and everything you would want in a blade, but I just feel meh about them. Maybe when I see them in person my mind will change.

Not feeling it. When I bag blades I want them to look clean. The weight looks odd but I’m interested in how they are marketing it.

I'm guessing it's interchangeable. There's a picture of another new Callaway CB with a weight screwed on the back. It looks like customizable swing weight to me.

Much prefer the model it’s replacing to be honest based on looks alone but I will certainly test them when they are out

If they are like the taylormade and adams mb pro black, then the port is for swing weight adjustment only.

Idea of the port is being able to adjust swing weight without moving the CG.

 

having seen these in person as well as the new CB and UT iron, I liked the look of all of them much better in hand than in pictures.

Much like the X Forged UT was to the previous version of X Forged, the cavity graphics are quite similar on the UT and CB. Shape at address and impact feel are very similar to what I remember from X Forged UT. Will only have lofts down to 24* though, where the last version went down to 30*.

Grrr...shame on the lofts.  I've got the X Forged '18 UT's and have both the 27 and 30 and they are awesome.  Was looking forward to a new set but I guess that's not possible.

Hard to ruin the design of a blade but Callaway did it. A screw right in the middle? Yikes..

I think it'd be cool if they made the weight port ascending/descending,  so you could concentrate more mass higher in the higher lofted irons, and lower in the lower lofted irons.

That's basically what the muscleback design does anyway, having moveable CoG on a solid construction, you're not going to move it by more than a few millimetres. You only move CoG about 3-4mm on a hollow 460cc driver that weighs about 200grams.
