ok... I will add these. I cant tell you how much I paid because I am blocking the number out. I am in denial. But they were CRAZY...   National Custom Don White combo set... with wedges.

Well I lost my shxt one day at the PGA Show and spent $5k on a minty 009 Blue Chromatic. Now it is my gamer. Unless it is in timeout. Looks nothing like this now.

I've owned a few button backs but didn't get a long with them and sold them. I am totally fine with playing a putter that is over a grand... They're tools and are meant to be used IMO.   I d

Think I've got around $500 in my putter.  Since it's the most used club in the bag it seems ok to spend that much.  and as noted above, I'd be ok with $1k in a putter if I actually had more confidence in it then my current one.

Yes, I hear putters retain their value better too.

Would you pay this much for a club and actually use it?

My putter definitely is as well.  Old new scotty's just aren't worth that kind of money though.  Too light for most people's preference.  Could get a boutique company to make a similar design with more weight for the same or better price, plus you get to pick all the specs (mill finishing, shaft, grip, loft, lie, etc).

Despite being a putter ho my driver is the most expensive. But I'd have no problem dropping a lot of cash on a putter i have a ton of confidence with.

My most expensive club is probably my putter.  I got my Rife putter brand new at the unheard of price of $70...CDN.

Tom Slighter hand crafted Redmond cost about 800 Canadian a few years ago. Love it and enjoyed the process of helping design the putter to what I wanted.

My SIM driver cost around 600 or so Canadian.

I have one hobby. I buy what I want no big deal.

Most expensive as in what I paid for it?

P790UDI, 2017 model. New in plastic for $239 Canadian.

Most expensive in what it's actually worth?

915D3 8.5 with Diamana S+ limited edition shaft. Paid $180 cad for it, then realized it had a $430 shaft in it.. black on black on black, sexy thing. Was mint

Driver - Tour Issue Epic Flash SZ Triple Diamond w/ Ventus. Spent $800 and it doesn't work (couldn't possibly be user error!).

I do plan to get a custom putter at some point that will surpass that, but doubt I'll ever spend even close to that much on a non-putter again.

I do prefer spread the wealth though. I would much rather have 3 $330 putters vs 1 $1000 putter. Currently have about 25 putters lying around in the room.

I think my wife would cut my throat while I slept if I had that much stuff.. LOL
