Quotient is a diminishing number with age.  Mine was measured by government back in my mid 20's and found unusually high, short of your friend and focused in 3-categories.  My work much easier for me, and answers come very quick compared to others.   Back in the day, I had sight adjustments before my spotter could do the math.  Hang in there and aim straight but on Golfwrx allow for windage. LOL

I am no were near my buddy... Honestly I feel I am below average, but oddly in things I am interested in, above average.... I have a nephew that is high functioning Autistic. He is amazing in certain aspects but challenging in others.  Actual Math.... terrible,  give me a mildot master, ballistic tables and I can make calls all day with relatively high accuracy.

Oddly due to my PSD team being a limited high tempo team, I did not have a spotter most of the time =*( super crappy deal LOL.  When I did secondary ops outside of my PSD team I did have a spotter.

This just meant, a bunch of batteries for the radio if somehow I was caught up in some bad stuff.  Generally when I ran solo though, my guys where no more than 500m away (overwatched my guys).  I wasn't too far away, I was lucky though, NOT to have had any overrun positions when I was alone. It sucked when my guys would drop me off and I would be running off solo looking for a perch while my teams drove off, sketchy feeling LOL.

Golf was actually a tool I used after I came back.  I have a long thread, but battled PTSD for a while and golf was the outlet to let me heal! It calms the nerves had my brain thinking/distracted and put me in positions to get acclimated to regular life.  I owe a lot to golf and GolfWRX for that matter!

Thanks for the kind words! Hit em straight and have fun as well!

I have gone through 3 new sets this year in the Apex Pro's, 718 AP2's and new Hogan combo set.  Played yesterday with my beloved I20's and it's the same feeling as before.  Looking for an answer to a question I don't have.  Love my I20's and will finish the season with them.  Might look at the I210's or I500s (or what ever update is coming) as I've listed the other 3 sets locally.  Newer isn't always better.

I switched from fly z pro's to some forged tec blacks and gained some distance. Didn't notice a huge difference in scoring but there sure is a difference when hitting shots off the toe. The CBs still get the distance I was looking for while the MBs come up almost 10 yards short, so I'd say go for the CBs. I know some look like model space ships attached to a stick lol especially the (taylormade shovels)but they do seem to help.

So if you missed part of the thread.  Heres part of it,

Yes When the MB's miss, its "always short" I have never had an MB retain ball speed to the point where the shot was almost identical to a normal quality shot.

the GI's on the other hand have that ability to retain ballspeed, reduce spin and maintain launch.  the GI's would provide a potentially salvage able miss hit.  WITH that on the other hand there have been short miss hits with the GI's and sometime "lowspin" shots that dont hold greens or actually go long than anticipated.  (from my experience)

The un predictability that I suffer from GI's have frustrated me specifically.

part 2 of what you might have missed ?  I ended up purchasing a MB/CB sub =70 combo.  the CB's though are true CB's and NOT Hollow Cavity backs like the AP2 that I have,  I think this is where I needed to go next, NOT GI hollow cavities, but true perimeter weighted cavity backs.

Anyways that is most of the "Deeper" part of this discussion.

Plenty of Titleist staffers game AP2's, I don't really understand the problem, as they are still a player's iron. If you'd a said AP1, then I could have understood better. Play whatever set your "mind" wants you to. I for one, will always err on the side of more forgiveness and MOI. Ymmv

Thanks for the post!  This "is" the discussion!

Great for them! The "Titleist Staffers" That is. LOL, they have found the irons to work for them.  For myself and my game specifically I have found consistency trouble.  (This is the discussion)  I found it hard to control dispersion with the AP2's than I do with my current gamers.

Yes they are a players irons,  They are minimal offset, have traditional lines.  The challenge (The problem) that is seemingly more focused due to this thread is the fact that the AP2's have pocket cavities.  This differs from regular CB's in that its not a solid face with perimeter weighting's.  I might be an anomaly but it seems I have a harder time with Hallow cavities. In regards to dispersion.  In comparison to my MB's. Considering "New Irons" and wanting forgiveness yet I struggle with Hollow cavity irons. The question then begs how to I benefit from Forgiveness yet struggle with dispersion.   The simple but overlooked answer was,  CB (Solid face, perimeter weight).

Yes the CB's are likely less forgiving than the Players GI.  But more Forgiving than the MB's (Happy trade off) The Hope is the Solid CB's would give me the "err side of forgiveness" But still allow me to keep my dispersion/proximity accuracy.

I agree I would LIKE to err on the side of Forgiveness if it benefits my game. At this time the benefit factor has not shown an appreciable benefit in GI's/Hollow Cavities that the AP2s and further up the GI ladder provide
