Which Shaft will have more weight towards the bottom of the shaft.

I play Jumbo Grips and when i put them on they club head just feel to light. Combine that with a quick tempo and its trouble.

I am re shafting my irons with either of these shafts. does anybody know which of these has more weight towards the head area that will result in heavier swing weight.

I would be far more concerned about total shaft weight than balance point. The Steelfiber 110 could hypothetically have the lowest balance point, but it is still 20g lighter than the DG300, so would end up feeling lighter overall as a result.

Thankfully, the answer to this question lines up with total weight in that the heaviest shaft (DG300) also has the lowest balance point. From there, lead tape is your friend to restore any lost feel, just do yourself a favor and ignore anything related to swingweight if you go down that road and go strictly be feel. Only measure once it feels right to you.

S300 is the heaviest and will help tip SW in the right direction. Lead tape may still be needed. This could results in a pretty heavy overall weight, so make sure you are cut out for it.

 

If you are going with another shaft (depending on your swing speed), consider soft stepping an X flex. In the Modus or Project X that will add an extra 5-6 grams or so. And when you add lead tape to the clubhead, the shaft flex will be weakened as well. Could easily have an X play similar to the S, but take advantages of the extra weight.

Get the JumboMax Ultra Light. They are standard weight.

Of the batch you list PX 6.0 = 120g and stiff tip.  I played those shafts for many years, then switched to Steelfiber i110cw Stiff for 1.5yrs, until recently when I switching back to PX only 5.5 stiff which are 115g and stiff tip.  From personal experience the other shafts are not comparable to PX 6.0.  Good luck.  PS I don't use jumbo grips, have a quick tempo, and use TV Align standard with +3 wraps, and have large hands.
