Ok, maybe you won't hit it as far as Byrson, but these things go! 2020 Cobra King Forged Tec irons. 4-PW. I played a few sets of p790s and moved on to these. These spin more for sure, so I didn't get the odd knuckleball like I did with the p790s, and these felt 100x better too. Might be the shafts? 7 irons total, 4-PW with upgraded KBS $-Taper 120 Stiff (Not the $-Taper Lite garbage they put in them stock). If you've never played $-Taper, think much smoother than C-Taper, not as boardy... maybe a hair firmer than KBS Tour, but not as spinny. Anyway, these have some wear on the sole of the 4, 6, and PW 6 in particular, but the faces are very clean. (I tried to make them look as bad as possible in the pics). These are standard lofts and are 2* flat through the set. NDMC mid-size grips have a couple of rounds on them, they aren't new, but pretty darn close. I hate to move on from them, but my foam filled iron experimentations are over, and my wife tells me our 7 month old needs a new car seat and holy cow.. she picked out something that cost as much as my first car! $SOLD!!!! shipped and insured USPS Priority Mail.
Mizuno MP-H5 Hitogami 2 iron. Standard loft and lie. 18* Loft and it plays longer than the 39.25" std steel length... this is 41.25" long. Shafted with a Aldila RIP 105 Stiff graphite shaft. I wanted something that felt closer to steel (I'm an s300 guy from way back) but a little bit lighter... this fit the bill nicely. TaylorMade M5 Tour 10.5* Driver. Shafted with the stock Tensei Orange 60 Stiff shaft. Picked this up from Global Golf (Excellent Condition according to their guide) over the summer and it bombs it for sure, but I just can't unseat my gamer. I'm not sure if it was a light head or it was ordered that way with heavier weights... But I added 5g of hot-melt in a neutral location, and took out a 10g sliding weight, and put in a 5g one.
