Curious why all the pxg clubs, especially the 0211 irons, are on the BST lately. Is there something on these where people feel the need to move them?

I think PXG has always interested people but have historically been too expensive for most to try out. The 0211's are offered at a lower price point, so more people are trying them out, and perhaps not liking them.

They were cheap so a lot were sold.  And clubs don't fit everyone so a lot will be resold.

Obviously not the case for everyone but I just felt like PXG clubs never preformed compared to the competition. But like an above poster said, i think it has something to do with the 0211’s being cheaper and allowed more people to buy them and experiment, and people either wanting to try the brand out or having the PXG status symbol.

They are cheap enough with the 'covid sale' and 'first responder discount' to try them and dump them. This was bound to happen.

 

Not to mention flippers.

When I picked up my Gen1 they were cheaper than TMade, Callaway, Ping or Titleist through Heroes.  Their reputation on pricing is based upon their initial release price, but Parsons lowers the price rapidly.  Also, Gen1 lasted a few years, then Gen2 and likely Gen3 have a much shorter product cycle.  

 

I have a guy I play with that usually gets 3 or 4 sets of PXG's a year and I advised him to sell the second he is done with one because the prices are dropping quickly as Bob speeds up his cycles.

Most of the BST ads are for more than the new price now. Pretty funny.

I figured the same. The fact that there so many being resold leads me to think they're just not as great in performance. I've hit the drivers & woods. They feel fantastic. But just don't get the same performance as some of the other big names.

Probably not that (the lack of performance).  WRXers gonna ho--that's it, and will always be it.  I ho, and own some PXG iron sets, and they truly are excellent, from the 0311 line down to the 0211.  Are they better?  Not really, but certainly as good if not better than others, if you like the look, and the feel, and the turf interaction, etc.  And of course, with the prices of the 0211 bringing them in line or cheaper than comparable sets, it is easier to give them a try, easier to unload without maybe taking a huge loss, etc.  My .02 cents.
